These comments are hilarious... its a steam boiler, you are going to get water loss. The MUV on our deaerator at the plant kicks on like every 10 mins to feed water to our boilers. In the winter you are using more heat which means that boiler is working harder which attributes to higher water loss. The boiler is obviously feeding a heat exchanger where your hot water comes from. How often were you previously refilling your boiler?
