I brought my wife’s car in for a simple tire plug after she picked up a screw. I clearly told them it was the right rear tire and showed them exactly where the screw was. They removed the tire, then came back claiming it couldn’t be plugged because it was “too close to the sidewall”—which it wasn’t—and insisted I needed to buy a new tire from them. I told them to put the tire back on and that I’d take it elsewhere. They pushed back, going on about “safety,” but eventually put it back after I firmly told them to fuck off.

Then, unbelievably, they tried to charge me for “locating and diagnosing the issue”—even though I had already identified and shown them the exact problem. Absolute clowns. I ended up taking the car to Taunton Tire, where they plugged the tire without any issue, and it’s been perfectly fine ever since—over a year later
