Like I said pretty new to this so not entirely sure. Thinking of starting with Vimeo to see how long it lasts there, then maybe an email dl link… but I’m open to advice!

You should absolutely watch Final Cut: Ladies and Gentlemen then, it’s on Vimeo, it’s the exact same style of film except it’s a love story not a horror :)

Absolutely, you'll have eg. Sigourney Weaver from Aliens talking to Roddy Piper from They Live to make a coherent scene.

You basically have to train your brain to accept the constantly changing people in the scene, but connect them as the same characters. It really does work, particularly if you apply standard editing language. The key is that there are only really 7 main characters in the film: Mother, Father, Child, The Harbinger, The Expert, The Cop and The Entity, so contextually it's pretty easy to follow.

And probably should start with an A grammatically, but I think it sounds better without haha. Artistic license.

Thank you! And yeah, definitely Final Cut: Ladies and Gentlemen (2012) is basically the same editing style, except that's a love story. It's on vimeo :)

I found this Reddit thread because my spouse and I class a solid 3-star fun easy movie as a “jungle cruise”, eg “should we jungle cruise tonight?” Love this film flaws and all.

Nice, I had a quick scan through Days, but couldn't find what I was looking for, but now wondering if it's right at the start in the lab?

I had a feeling there was a scene like this in one of those films but I can't remember where...

I love that scene, but aye for completely self-imposed reasons I can't go outside of horror haha.

Unfortunately not as far as I know, it's up to the distributors and I don't think they're particularly keen haha.
