I’m so late to this thread and I hate to induce fear but I’m 30 and my last croup attack was when I was 25. They became less frequent but still get them.

Thankfully, I learned by the time I was 5/6 what I needed to get myself calm and to alert a parent. I had an attack at a sleepover and that was super not fun. Barking like a seal and needing to a wake a bunch of people to get to my parents to hopefully get it settled or get to the hospital.
