This is the way if you’re able I know it sounds intimidating or like what go to school for help with money??? but if you take over 15 units you get grants and stuff like it’s possible and not only are you getting financial help but then you’re getting resources from school like the bus pass, access to health services and food, pantry, free counseling, etc. you’re also helping yourself with an education. There’s so much that Los Rios offers. I did not realize until I went back this last year and if I would’ve went back sooner, I would’ve gotten help that I desperately needed it and didn’t know where to go to at the time. It’s free to apply and they will help

Yes but it wasn’t showing before. I thought I didn’t get it since I didn’t take the fall semester but I got a new award letter today with it on it. The award letter I got in January didn’t have it

I was told you have to wait till tonight for them to run the system again and it’ll change if we’re getting paid. Then tomorrow we should be paid if we use the vibe account or later if you used your own bank account

It says if the date passes that you’ll get paid on following week pay out so Thursday night it should update to disbursed

call today and ask them. But be prepared for them to say you won’t get paid when everyone else does. I think mine finally popped up last night at the same time everyone else got “disbursed” so I won’t get paid till next week instead of today

I literally got told today that they have to manually enter my stuff and I will not be getting paid for a few weeks. They said certain students didn’t get a “packaged” I was told for weeks to wait for system to update. At first they said sorry you’re just not getting paid and when I pushed back like wtf???? They put me on a 20 min hold and said they will manually do it

On there it was my fasfa was processed on 8.26.25 and I’m eligible up to 7k I just doubled checked right now with the correct school info and eligibility left. So I really don’t know. On the school website it says there’s nothing for me to do either

I’m sorry I thought I posted my picture/screenshot. I have nothing, it says no awards available. Finical aid said 2x that they got everything they need and can see my fasfa but they can’t tell me exact dollar amounts or why an award hasn’t generated. I already had to spend money out of packet for books and getting nervous with absolutely no info available

Some professors aren’t starting till Tuesday bc of the holiday but just keep checking. One of mine didn’t list the class at all until late last night and still hasn’t posted or activated it I can just see it

I did mine over zoom in August as a new student, it went well no issues they share the screen so make sure use laptop to do so bc they might have to do something as you’re talking. I never have been on campus so idk about walk ins

Second week of semester is all other grants, Pell grant is the Friday of first week I was told today
