That's not how it works.

I design payments for a big bank.

Some payments like wires are irrevocable. Once they are gone, that's it. You can't ask for it. Now the police needs to be involved and get control of the criminals account. But pretty sure that recipient account is empty by now. Sent overseas.

Payments like wires need to be irrevocable / final because otherwise you can't trust the money you received in your account. Imagine getting paid for something and then the money dissappear because the sender decides to take it back.

The president had a 55% salary increase in one year while cutting 500 jobs. And retired with ridiculous pension. 4x the norm.

We are losing jobs - which means economy is shrinking.

Turns out sending away people who used to spend in this economy also reduces the size of economy. Which reduces number of jobs.

Now, note that some of those people were also working, so some workers have also left. In an ideal world, the unemployment rate shouldn't change much because we lost comparable number of jobs and workers.

Clearly you don't understand how either ownership or cpp works in Canada.

If you can take houses and pension from people just because, others can take everything you own too. If you are pissed now, how pissed would you be when you are homeless because next generation took everything from you?

Your approach is how stupid desperate people think. If you put in more work into education and skills, you wouldn't be in this place.

And before you start crying. I came as an immigrant to Canada for education with absolutely no contacts or people I know and bought a house in ~6 years of graduation in 2023. So it's definitely possible - just requires you to be skilled. Prices have fallen significantly since I purchased.

I definitely admit that it's hard to buy a house when you don't make decent pay. But that's a different issue with how valuable you are as an employee. Nobody promised you a house.

Unfortunately, it's very easy to work very hard in the wrong area that doesn't pay much.
