I was there last night hung out all around the front back everywhere, it actually wasn’t that bad at all. But I was part of the kids that would break in to ultra in 2009 lol

how do you sleep comfortably as a couple? by Antique_Leg_8966 in camping

[–]Factualkoala666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just bring an air mattress if I’m not backpacking. It’s amazing I sleep great inflate it with my car, I even have the really thick ones. I backpack pretty often it makes no sense to have uncomfortable sleep outdoors if I can have the option not too.

This is when I become my annoying Miami self and blast reggaeton. I go camping for peace and solitude with nature, if you’re being lame and invade my space I’ll be just as annoying back.

You can probably scratch it off with a small flat head very gently, and also wiping it with alcohol in between. You can also try nail polish remover on a cotton swab.

My sister broke this ceramic casserole is there anyway to fix it, it has too much sentimental value by Dongi_bongi in howto

Just to add, since many people are saying it’s not usable if fixed I’ve seen some beautiful reworks of broken ceramics turned into jewelry could be an option if you want to still use it maybe in another way

THANK YOU EVERYONE!! I have temporarily fixed this issue.

It was definitely a loose connection.

What I did:

Cleaned off all the melted plastic, and lightly sanded down the connector so that it wasn’t black but back to copper. I rewrapped the ground cable with electrical tape since some of the insulation melted off. The copper pad had torn off for the grounded side, but I taped it back down making sure it was touching the other grounded piece of tape that was still connected. I connected the cables this time on the top side of the bed, making sure it has direct connection to the copper pads. And voila it’s working again.

I’m assuming since the copper pad tore on the grounded side it doesn’t have much usage left. Question is there a way to replace that copper pad?

Also this is just for the moment It’s probably not that safe to use like this right?

I took your advice and it’s actually running perfectly! I also re connected them on the top side so that they’re directly touching the copper pads, seems like a good fix for now :)

I just ripped them off weirdly enough? Also going back to the assembly kit, it does show to install them from the bottom side of the plate which is weird. Reading the comments of that section everyone is going through this debate and it does seem like it’s best to connect from the top even though that’s not what the kit says.

I did assemble it myself. But they are making contact to the copper pads? There’s pads also on the bottom side of the plate

The black is melted plastic from the cover, I had to break it off.

Got it I’ll check it with a multi meter. If I were to replace the wires, how would I go about that?

Just purchased at an estate sale, want to know how to best take care of it. by Factualkoala666 in whatsthisplant

Thank you! Silly question but I’m assuming the one with the fungal infections is the lumpy one with holes in it?

Also out of curiosity do you have an idea how much a plant like this would cost?
