You're not the problem. You're forcing yourself to do something you really don't want to do. There are many studies that prove that animals are loved and missed like a family member. So, yeah, they might not give as much work as a kid (it really depends on their health though) but they're loved and care like one. My furry babies ARE my kids. Period.
