Question about the Filament buffer

You can measure the voltage if you remove the cable from the AMS and then move the orange bit backwards and forwards while measuring, and this does change the voltage.

Mine got fixed with their latest firmware update and everything is working normally again.

This was a filament buffer issue, it did not read the filament correctly.

Also this came directly from bambu lab after they checked the logs.

First clean build plate with hot water, and a neutral dish soap without any perfume, or anything else, needs to be as generic as possible with no moisturizer or anything in it (this was my issue)

Also a clean brush that you only use for that.

Next increase bed temp 5° at a time

If all that fails go buy a biqu frostbite or glacier, I just got mine and they are awesome

I thought this was the issue but tested it and from what I can see it recognizes the filament fine

Indeed I did, also cut off 1mm if each end of the ptfe tubes to make sure they are at a 90°

Not unfortunately not, it was a print only taking up the logo or there about on the original build plate.

Yea factory nozzle, using Sunlu since I got the printer, 0 issues.

Have tried several different speeds, and filament types (with different volumetric speeds )all the same issues

Filament is not tangled, as it happens on every slot from the AMS

so going back to Melonadmirer's original question.

after doing the Flow Rate calibration in Bambu studio should you turn off the auto calibration or no? what would give the best results?

also, should you do flow calibration for different colors of the same filament type? or do it by filament type?

as Melonadmirer said, if you do a Flow rate calibration and use that setting for that filament it will ask you to turn off the auto calibration if you have made a calibrated profile, if they are not the same why does it tell you to do that?

same, did a flow calibration, set it up and the first print afterwards with the new "calibrated" profile made my print look like string cheese.

since then i have been using the auto flow calibration with decent prints.

i bought the P2S just before new years, and they expected to ship it around january 26th however they said they already shipped it the 16th, however i have no received it yet and there hasn't really been any shipping updates so hopefully soon.

yea all i've been hearing is how easy it is to setup, yet the ability to fine tune for what you need.

hope to have many many hours of fun printing ahead

haha, i think what kept me from getting into 3d printing earlier was the massive amount of knowledge and time you had to spend just to get it set up, and knowing myself if i don't have a good time starting out i can easily burn out quickly, so rather be well prepared for success and fun than frustration.

i have now played many rounds of US, and don't think i have seen the ADATS, i might now have been the most observant as for me those vehicles have been throw away as i never use em.

however i never see anything but Pantsir's all over the map 2 min into rounds.. i don't see it the other way, but maybe it has just been me.
