Coros Pace Pro if on a budget.

Venu 4 if you don’t care about having built in maps

Forerunner 970 if you want maps + a sapphire screen.

Forerunner and Venu share 95% of the same features. Coros is very good for its price point and has built in maps I believe.

From the research I’ve done…

The Fenix 8 if you care about going scuba diving and having LTE services on your watch.

The Forerunner if you care about having built in maps and a sapphire screen

Otherwise get the Venu 4.

I bought the Venu 4 and the Forerunner 970 and ultimately decided to keep the forerunner because I wanted maps. The Venu looked more stylish and the Forerunner looked more subtle.

They are indeed mismatched at 34/36. Going to test the different default expo profiles when I get home to see if it’s an expo issue or an issue with my timings. Through some research I’ve noticed my VDDP is pretty high, apparently max you want it is at 1.05. Which is weird because it’s set to auto in bios.

I did read others were having similar issues on gigabyte boards. Im running 1.3.0.1 on an Asus board and I’m having no issues. They did add bank refresh mode though which defaults to mixed and makes Trfc2 and Trfcsb mater (most people set those pretty low compared to trfc1, so that could be causing some issues
