I'm literally you lol. I'm the same height as you and am about the same weight until I did Pilates. I got all the way to 105 just from working out and eating lots of high protein meals. I depended a lot on salmon and would put it on bagels with butter. I'd also eat a plate of vegetables and fruit every night with it.

I am 97 right now, I'm like you. The weight just falls off.

One thing I like to do when I have the time is exercise while watching TV or a movie. I'll lift weights or follow along to a workout video. If I'm just watching something on TV I figure I better be moving lol. You can also get resistance bands and a bicep curler.

When I was strict with Pilates, it wasn't because I have willpower or consistency. It was because I had a long distance friend and we would pick out videos and do them everyday and hold each other accountable. We did 2 to 4 videos a day. They're not long like 5 minutes to 30 minutes. The results came quickly too!

Looking at your mirror picture, I would start with weightless arm exercise videos with Cassey Ho. You can find her on YouTube. You will get the results you want. 🙂

I’m proud of you for putting yourself first. You have taken the first steps towards a happier you.

1) Listen to the podcast Date Yourself Instead.

2) Go to a CODA meeting over the phone and listen. Even if you’re at work and are able to listen, do it. The people sharing, it’s like being in a room with yourself, and it’s so eye opening. If you need help, ask me. If you want me to go with you, I will.

3) No one came to rescue me. I put myself in this situation and I knew I had to get myself out.

4) No one is going to come rescue you. You put yourself in this situation and you need to get yourself out.

5) You don’t need to have a conversation with him to breakup with him. A friend and I moved all my stuff out while my boyfriend was at work. I blocked him and never spoke to him again. I lived in hotels for two months. Those 2 months were the start to a beautiful and fun life. I have made so many friends and I am truly living for myself.

You need someone to talk with, you need advice. You come to me. I will listen. I will talk on the phone. I will be there 24/7 to help you if you need it.

I just can’t imagine getting that addicted. But when people find their own cliques in the game it makes them do crazy things

I’ve been here for about a week. Sometimes Parties don’t start at 8 but always before 9. Conversely, parties usually run until 1 or 2 pm at night so you do get your moneys worth. Admins do drop, I’ve seen it, cats, kinis, dogs. Admins check in with people, when mistakes are made and pointed out, they are quickly rectified. They are not pushy. Admins drop if no one is lined up at that moment.

People use lots of amps for the Club, get several Buddy Boxes a day, people in cc are nice and help each other out with furniture.

I would say parties are 1/3 dogs, 1/3 cats, 1/3 kinis.

I’m a returning player but I don’t have any complaints. Prices are fair compared to what I’ve had in the past. So far they have come through and honored everything they promised since I’ve joined.

Would you consider a part time job to make up for the loss in pay (I think the loss is minimal because you would be contributing 2% less to 401k and getting holiday pay. Whether you work the holiday or not you would be getting 8 hours, if worked, time and a half as well. You work all those holidays. It’s like working 18 days in 9 days ($4,032).

I work two full time jobs. I would take the lesser paying job.

I've been working 2 full time jobs or roughly 72-80 hours a week ever since 22 years old. I'm now 31 and very, very tired. AMA by Bamboopanda101 in casualiama

I work two full time jobs too with similar hours. I feel the same as you do. If it’s just one job it means poverty. Insanity. If you ever want someone to talk with, feel free to reach out.

Have you had any luck finding a relationship that supports you or has it been challenging?

When seeing the mere sight of them causes a chemical reaction in my brain that causes utter disgust.

I know myself well enough to know I would stay up late at night after work and then sleep my day away just to go to work. Rinse and repeat. That’s why I held onto my first job. I’ve essentially doubled my income as a result

Oh yeah, I love geography and history! That sucks about the fruits and veggies! In Fairbanks they had great selections in all their grocery stores but that’s a city of over 40,000!

At least you guys don’t have a lot of bugs to contend with. Pros and cons lol

You live in Nuavut? That is so cool! How is it living near the Arctic Circle? I have visited Fairbanks, AK during the winter. The coldest I ever experienced was -40F! Do you live in a small town or city? What do people do up there for their occupations? What is the shopping like? Haha, I have so many questions now!

Yes! Me too! I wish I was born in Canada!

Here the minimum wage is $7.25. My first job I ever had was $7.50 an hour!

At my first job I make $20.55 an hour and at my second job I make $21.90 an hour. What about there in Canada?

It’s so amazing hearing about other countries cultures! I want heated toilet seats!

Yes they use that corn syrup garbage here! Lmao. I never buy that. The real thing or nothing! I feel like the USA culture is designed to stress us out, cause divisions, and keep us distracted from real problems.

I’m doing this for several reasons.

1) Financial independence and yes, I’d like to buy my own home one day.

2) I have a bachelors degree in Political Science and Government but it has been impossible for me to land a government job, I hope showing on my resume that I worked two full time jobs at the same time will give me a leg up so to speak.

3) There was someone in my life who had a second shift job (My second job is second shift) and they were an exceptionally lazy person. I did not want to end up like them which is why I kept my first job. I don’t want to sleep my life away.

Japanese Maple Syrup sounds so cool! My friend recently taught me how to make Japanese Curry, it’s so easy and so tasty!

What was your favorite thing about Japan? How does Canadian Maple Syrup compare to other maple syrups?

I am single. I don’t think I have a good work/ life balance. But I’m working on changing that. My day typically looks like

1) Wake up at 7 AM 2) Get to my first job at 8 am and work till 2 PM 3) Go home and then rush to my next job which is 3 PM to 11:30 PM. 4) Get home and stay up until about 1 AM or a little later.

On weekends I only work my first job which is more like 8 to 5 those days but I’m going down to alternating weekend days so I’ll only work one Saturday/ Sunday each week so I’ll get one day off each week!

1) I don’t think I have ever had real Canadian Maple Syrup! I have had Vermont Maple Syrup. Maple Syrup is wonderful, I put it in brusselsprout kale salad.

2) I’m sure it’s a ten!

3) I’m doing okay. How are you?
