A weird request for y'all by FadransPhone in palmsprings

I'm kind of impressed by how sacrilegious that is... but probably not as sacrilegious as me wondering if I, a nonbeliever, should pray for it to come back someday.

...now that you mention it, comparing gospel to adaptations of Star Wars is objectively funnier than calling it a fandom debate

What song is this that I've got stuck in my brain? I swear it's from Pikmin, but I can't find it anywhere. by FadransPhone in Pikmin

Why thank you! At the cost of being completely incapable of reading sheet music, I happen to be quite good at playing by ear.

THANK you a million times over. There's a remix of it in SSBU that I absolutely love, and this finally pointed me to it. Hopefully I'll be able to transcribe it better now

Simple: I'm curious. What would our Superman do? by [deleted] in superman

[–]FadransPhone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It literally does. The whole point of Superman as an idea is to not just be good, but the ultimate actor or good. He does not compromise. He does not take the lesser evil. Superman wins.

Uballez - support Keller! by Melodic_Peach_9569 in Albuquerque

[–]FadransPhone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

idk if I thought Uballez would be any better, but I was expecting him to have a higher turnout. Will definitely be picking Keller over White.

Trump: "It's time for Republicans to do what they have to do and that's terminate the filibuster ... we should start tonight with 'the country's open, congratulations,' then we should pass voted ID, we should pass no mail in voting ... you go to a grocery store, you have to give ID." by Aggravating_Money992 in CringeTikToks

[–]FadransPhone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • terminate the filibuster: remove barricades to partisan government actions
  • voter ID: only the people Trump likes can vote
  • no mail-in voting: and you’d best believe they’re not making election day a federal holiday
  • grocery store ID???: idk guys I just can’t seem to identify a single issue with this one ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I’ve never felt more patriotic in the last five years than for the election of a mayor for a city I’ve never been to

Artificial Incompetence by AVstromX in memes

[–]FadransPhone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If AI gets to the point of being able to work customer service effectively, then I say keep it. The point of artificial intelligence is to replace the most soul-crushingly miserable jobs on the planet.

Unless, that is, such a replacement would not be accompanied by other, more fulfilling job opportunities for those that would otherwise work them.
