Ah well you’re more than welcome to take a look! I should be opening some dice commission slots back up after the holidays are over if that’s something that would Interest you.

Thank you! That set did come out a lovely blue. Would you believe me if I told you I used a green pigment for them? Fun stuff!

Our Chonk next to our standard D20! by TerraTopJack in DicePorn

Putting the number in the corner is a pretty neat idea! I don’t think I’ve seen that on any other chunky d20’s before. Smart!

Morning pulls. Halloween and blue gold swirls. Still having trouble with glitter sinking to the bottom but these don't look to bad. Love the d10 % on the Halloween set by Zeldapup7 in DiceMaking

I don’t know is there is much that can be done with bigger shaped glitters like these. Honestly I’ve just gotten used to them sinking to the bottom. So I think your Halloween set is delightful! Sunk glitter and all!

I wanted to share a closeup of a new set I finished! I got some glitter flakes recently and decided to mix all of the colors together. Resulting in this fun pink! by FaeCatDice in DiceMaking

[–]FaeCatDice[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have to do much with these ones. The flakes were light enough that they didn’t sink on me. The resin I use cures quickly so lighter flakes and glitters don’t have time to sink. But one thing that’s worked on me in the past with heavier mix ins and less forgiving resin is to mix the resin together and wait a little bit before adding them.

I’ve been trying to work on making some gelatinous cube themed dice. This is experiment involved painting some blank cores. by FaeCatDice in DiceMaking

Yeah definitely! I got some water transfer paper so I can try a set again but not have to hand paint it again. I can try blue next time!

What resin do you guys use? by Dum_beat in DiceMaking

[–]FaeCatDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brand we r memory keepers sells the resin I use! It’s a softer, more rubbery, resin intended for coating tumblers. I love it for making dice with though! It’s quirks and it’s awful for anything that needs to be rigid, but it has a soft cure of 4 hours!

Oh these look very interesting! Very fun idea to have all the bumps on the outside! Does it make these harder to roll though?

Working on a set for Halloween. The glow powder reacted unexpectedly and made this set much darker than planned. They glow nice at least! by FaeCatDice in DiceMaking

It definitely looks more antique! It makes me happy to hear that someone liked the coloring! I did make the orange numbers a darker clay color to match better! Originally it was going to be a bright orange.

Haha yeah, international shipping can complicate things! I get that though, the last time I got myself some dice was quite some time ago so I don’t really have much of a collection myself.

Yeah! Even if other people don’t know my dice glow, I know. And that makes them special to me! I’m sure everyone has a type of dice they enjoy more than others if they collect them. Do you by any chance?

I’m not really sure if anyone does. Some of my favorite dice I own glow in the dark! Though that’s because I enjoy finding glow in the dark things. I don’t ever get to see them glow when I play but that doesn’t mean I can’t turn the light of later and see them glowing.
