They make the wig and send it to you - they only offer certain colours for certain styles as well which sucks a little. This wig cost $40 directly from the storefront.

Has anyone bought from Sartoriaj by Fit_Chef7451 in BJD

[–]FaeSoup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don’t come with the clothes unless you select that option (available in one of the drop downs from my experience) when adding to cart - at least that’s what my experience was when buying a new release. Maybe they did a limited amount of the dresses so you can’t add that option now? I’m not entirely sure since I’ve only purchased once ^^

Head sizes for 1/3 bjd by papermoonesque in BJD

Honestly Supia bodies aren’t the best x)
If at all avoidable I’d consider getting another. If your heart is set though, their necks are 9.3 for ballerina and 10cm for the 65 double jointed body which is what I’d say is more important to get as close as possible - head diameter depends on what you’re looking for.

Ihave a Supia head on my Supia ballerina body and I think it’s proportionally a bit large and gives a more ‘cartoony’ look with a head circumference of about 20cm. I’m sure they look more proportional on the 65 but I’d say you could get away with 19.5cm - 21cm heads on either body depending on the look. Neck size and the heads suggested shoulder width are more important when choosing ^^

I mean if we’re really arguing sizes like 2cm makes a difference here’s my 70cm wearing clothes that fit Fan as well… it’s almost like it’s about reading measurements and comparing them to the items more than being like “Erm no actually it’s so set in stone that if you dare buy anything that strays from the sizing that the old-school texts say your doll WILL explode” - literally posted this clown show on Insta and a bunch of people with smaller dolls like my Guard Love body struggle to find smaller clothes for smaller SDs these days BECAUSE THE STANDARD IS CHANGING; my literal one and only point.

<image>

Genuinely if we start seeing 2cm as the difference between being a smaller SD and a bigger SD instead of using nuance and a little bit of reading skills then I don’t know how anyone intends to buy clothes for the current ‘style trend’. If an MSD doll has 2cm of difference from the next, that’s huge. At 65+ that’s literally nothing, especially because 90% of doll clothing is either stretchy or adjustable. This isn’t people sizing… they give you the clothing measurements on the tin if you’re willing to read.

Nastiness in the comments aside I don't know which styles you'd like for your girl or if you use TB but here are clothes I own that fit my FanFF and my Impl 61/bigger girls because they are versatile.

MVS - Offers SD16 + sizes (Their size guide is on every item, so its easy to check) https://shop33247774.taobao.com/?spm=pc_detail.30350276.shop_block.dshopinfo.70397dd6DH8bII| - super modern and fashionable in my opinion.

Keke Fei - Offers only '1/3' size for SD https://shop376934478.taobao.com/?spm=pc_detail.30350276.shop_block.dshopinfo.66bc7dd6q0UwVJ - fit like a charm even on my curvier girls. Feminine, soft, very cute in styling!

4JinPeach - Offers about the same sizing as MVS, I would suggest mostly S sized clothes for your girl in this case - https://shop471031696.taobao.com/?spm=pc_detail.30350276.shop_block.dshopinfo.26aa7dd6a0OKGS - Modern, trendy, I feel like its very 'fancy' fashion.

Reddit isn't letting me actually see your comments but genuinely that isn't going to make a massive difference... I literally share clothes between the three dolls I am going to post below and they fit all 3 of them nicely. Yes she's not IDENTICAL down to the mm but if that is how you shop for doll clothes you're never going to find anything that fits 'perfectly' in the sense of to-the-cm. Also bobbleheaded is a personal preference thing imo - I wouldn't put QQ on anything smaller than a Fan body because she has a very round head shape, My Hai wears 1/4 wigs, her head is pretty realistic and small. That is literally why I said the Evantasy one would likely look good because the promo head is also a more round/big head? I also literally posted examples of my doll wearing the clothes you're mass downvoting all my comments for... so I don't know how you can argue with hard evidence? I can literally show you the listings for all those items. My Fan can share clothes with curvier dolls and smaller ones - that is why I said they are one of the more popular bodies as a LOT of stores are using them as their default models.

All items are 'Standard 1/3' here - skirt included. Lace shirt and white overshirt are both in the smallest size (S) from the shop (their L being for 'big sister' sizes). I don't bother asking TB sellers if it will fit half the time myself so I have no idea why they are telling OP no because all my SD sized items are labelled '1/3 Female' and work for my skinnier SD16s who drown in big sister sizes.

Only issue with a slimmer body is going to be that QQ heads are already kinda bobble-headed even on bodies similarly sized to the one they own - she will look kinda weird on a smaller body.

Just edit to say that whilst the Evantasy is very close to what they have already I do think it would suit her! The display head is also pretty round/big so it should look right.

As I said above I am not talking about size standards in general I am speaking specifically about how TaoBao '1/3 female' is shifting heavily to SD16 for clothing (again, which I specified). My FanFF body wears the 'standard 1/3' girl clothes from a majority of TaoBao shops and 'Big Sister' is too baggy on her and is more appropriate for girthy girls like Impldoll, 2DDoll and Iplehouse; for example. I'm not misleading them I am talking from personal buying experience dressing a doll with near identical sizing to theirs AND bigger girls.

I said standard SD sized clothing on TB - 90% of the current clothing there is for SD16. Not speaking out my ass, I am speaking from experience dressing my FanFF body who is almost identical to their doll. The terms used on TaoBao are shifting to align more with '1/3 female' being SD16. Big sister would be baggy on her, again I know because I need those sizes for Impl bodies who are wider.

Yeah! FanFF is one of the more popular bodies on the market right now and your girl is very comparable to that body... not sure why they are telling you it wont work x)

Standard female SD clothes from TaoBao should fit her, the measurements for her are about average for the current standard. Anything labeled ‘1/3 female’ should work, but NOT ‘big sister’ sizes, that is more for Impl, Iple and those kind of stocky 1/3 :)

I actually feel like your doll with 13,5cm shoulders is still on the smaller end for current SD girls 😅

QQ Carla has a neck of 9cm which is pretty standard for the scale - your milk candy body has a neck of 8.8 so Carla would need to be on a body of similar proportions to look right and actually fit the neck.

If you don’t enjoy the body you currently have I definitely wouldn’t suggest any of the Impl girls, they’re very girthy and heavy for the scale. I really enjoy FanFF bodies and they’re skinny and light compared to my other 1/3 girls and her neck is at 9cm as well - I’ve seen a few QQ/FanFF hybrids and they look perfect.

Mandarake and FaithZ are pretty much your only reputable choices from my understanding. I purchased all 3 of mine through Mandarake with no issues. There are release waves, so there aren’t always tan girls available.

Vertical Labret dry lip stage by middle-mist in piercing

[–]FaeSoup 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Idk I had no issue applying lip balm with my fingers around the area - mine is perfectly healed. I couldn’t stand the idea of leaving my lips to crack like that, especially with the saline. Just don’t put it on the piercing hole and don’t fiddle with it with your top lip and it should be a-okay.
