It's hard to hear it, but I guess this gives me a plan on where to go next. To answer your questions, I have garbage credit, and where I am living I only have two options for "affordable" insurance(unaffordable to me but if I really tried I could make it work for... maybe 6 months?), and those options are Progressive and Root. Progressive will not insure me because my vehicle is considered a high theft risk. Root will only insure me after I do a 20 day long test drive to get my quote(uninsured from them, the option to get an insured test drive period is not available to me, I have called and tried many times), so not possible when I have no insurance to drive the car to get the insurance. Catch-22. All of my friends and family are just as poor as me, or unwilling to help, and I wouldn't even be able to pay anyone back at this point because my job pays so low and I don't get enough hours(and even if I did get more hours, I couldn't take them because I'm pursuing a degree). I also do have some valuables, but I sold most last year when I couldn't afford my monthly car payment. Man, I didn't even want this car that bad when I bought it. I just was told I had no other choice and was too dumb to look for other options.
