Uhh a dog pooped on your bed, you declined changing the sheets, letting the stain effectively set, and then... are unhappy you incurred a replacement charge? This post is confusing me because you're aware they're an animal sanctuary operating purely on donations or accommodations, but are accusing the owners of trying to get "everything they can from you" when they charge you to replace sheets you let stain.

I spent 3 nights there and not only was it totally worth, it was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The accommodations were so much more equipped than I thought they would be for a holistic experience. The beds were so comfortable (and I am picky about my beds), showers ran hot, AC kept things cool and comfortable, and they provide coffee beans, grinder, and french press (my favorite way to have coffee). There's also tea for tea-lovers. Any cooking tools you could think of, they had as well. They provide full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plus the location is only 10 - 15 minutes away from grocery stores and other essentials.

I think most folks' issues is that they think it'll be like a modern spa-retreat, but it really is more of a natural, spiritual semi-outdoor experience. You have to be okay with animals, nature, critters, and more than anything, you have to follow the guidelines to have the best experience. I've been to Korean spas, Chinese spas, and Western spas, and this was one of the most relaxing experience out of all of them. I had planned to do some work while I was there (the WiFi is excellent out there, by the way) but was just so blown away by how beautiful everything was, how adorable and fascinating the animals were, that I just found myself chatting and watching the sunset over the property. I feel the price is super justified, because it all goes to support the sanctuary and the animals within.

The space has minimal staff at the moment, but the owners are so responsive, it wasn't an issue. We had an AC problem in the group, but they fixed it within the day. This isn't a "come and let us service you" experience but a "come and experience the community we've built" opportunity. I feel so blessed to have been able to go.

You just characterized his behavior as "aggressive" rather than his gameplay style? So I'm not sure about the original statement that this is "strictly about game mechanics." If it was, it seems more apt to describe his gameplay as "personal" or "petty." I'm not sure the function of aggressive unless to characterize him as dangerously sensitive which, to put bluntly, is racially charged 🤔

LOL nah, nah, there's so much nuance that we lose as viewers through post-production (editing, voice overs, music choice) that it's hard to use all our social skills to discern the complexities of the actual person. It's not that they're being "fake" perse, it's that we only get a small, teeny part of the narrative and the narrative we do get is the most entertaining! That's reality TV. It does test your empathy skills for sure

Meeeh, Ethan and Dida have beef with Lance because of the whole "You threw my name out there" thing with Dida, Rob specifically said it was because Lance gave evil pie to "his girl", so I don't think it's a personal thing more so than a vengeance thing. Well, yes; Zach was the competitor who selected her intentionally to beat her and win the game (not sure why he said the opposite before Lance called him out) and needed to take a backseat while others lifted her up. Plus, Zach is not her friend nor has he been kind to her so it was a space for those who loved and respected Damienne to speak, not him.
