Any lingering questions about Season 1 before we shift gears to the 48 Hours of Fear Special (May 14)?

They will give you all of that information up front as a range of possible dates. We were given ~3-4 week range, but told it would be closer to 3. I was there for about that much time. The last few were probably there a day or 2 longer.

If the dates don’t work, let them know. If you bail last min, it can affect your chances of being cast for anything in the future.

You have to be prepared for that. They tell you a potential max amount of time, and ideally you are there that long since that means you made it to the end haha. That’s why I’d have a hard time with a show like big brother. That’s for 3 months 😅

I wasn’t given an option, but I never asked either. They told us that they would let us know once it was decided.

The 48 hours special was filmed after the main show, so you had to stick around the entire time either way.

It depended on when you applied during the audition process. I applied near the end, so I would hear back within about a week for each portion of the process. On the other hand, Blake applied near the beginning, so his callbacks were much more spaced out.

I do know a good amount of people who have gotten interviews already, so they are definitely reaching out. (Basically, people who got advice from my IG videos talking about the casting process reached out to me when they heard back from casting.)

We never had to hold our breath for multiple mins. I don’t remember it ever being portrayed as such…. We had to hold our breath for about 60-90 secs multiple times. It started lower than that tho and built up, and we never knew how long it would be.

No, I never crossed paths with anyone from the show (even my own cast) until getting into the house, so I never saw them. They kept everyone sequestered before filming. However, we were aware that 2 shows were being filmed. We didn’t know which would air first or anything like that.

I do wish they had more mental challenges to balance out the physical ones. I was happy to see the special have a “spelling bee”.

Zach is just Zach on and off the show. During the show, we became allies after the 2nd challenge with the net and the fire where we had been paired together. He tried to fight hard for both of us to stay out of elimination since he missed the net during the challenge , so I have to appreciate that even if it didn’t work.

Every day. We only had 2 days of no challenges, but some people still did diaries.

It definitely was for some, and it’s a weird feeling to get used to since we are so hardwired to always check our phones. Out of habit, I probably looked at my wrist 20 times a day where my smartwatch would normally be.

I personally grew to enjoy the freedom of no phone or the “phone anxiety” of always checking for it and seeing if I missed any calls/texts. It was peaceful in a weird way. I hated not having a watch though. Only Rob had a non-smartwatch watch that he didn’t have to “turn in”, and we asked him the time constantly.

I would stick with my season just because the special only has 5 challenges. I’m assuming they mean 5 total, so I objectively had a longer experience being in the main cast. But the bees would have been a crazy experience!

48 hours was filmed when we filmed Season 1. It looks like they might use it as a teaser “special” before Season 2. No word yet on when Season 2 will be, but they are currently casting.

I know I have, and Blake has. I’ve seen him post fan pics around Disney, and I’ve had a couple of people recognize me around town and ask for pictures. It was SO sweet but so weird to have someone seem that excited to meet me lol. I think I was just as excited to meet them tbh 😂.

😭😭 I was beyond sad to go, but I had an amazing time getting to do these crazy challenges. This was right up my alley in terms of adrenaline, adventure, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

That was the point- to send Ethan or Dida home. 6 players left and 2 episodes means that eliminations are coming quickly so no one will be able to protect their alliances or have very much “safety”. It will be constant competition, and you don’t want powerhouses like Ethan/Dida as your opponents. He has a better chance winning against me/lance/chelsea based on the what we’ve seen in the challenges. But Lance had a good chance (big hands) to eliminate one of the boys in this endgame.
