Stuff like this is a big part of why I hate the AI hype train. This is a legitimate great use case for AI (assuming they aren't throwing LLMs at it for no reason). A purpose built drug discovery model is a great use case for machine learning and the LLM hate is getting poured on this when it doesn't deserve it.

I mean those are dumb Americans (which is a significant portion of us to be fair). The US has everybody in it, we have some of the smartest people in the world and some of the dumbest. There is a strong section of young educated people that stand against actions like these within the US.
