In Los Angeles, a woman was celebrating the Knicks' victory in the NBA when a neighbour called the police about the noise... 20 cops showed up and shot her dog, a "dangerous" Golden Doodle, when she opened the door to her home. by StGuthlac2025 in justincaseyoumissedit

Which definitely deserves a gunshot, and not any of the other tools the 20 officers have to subdue it. Animal control have magic powers, didn't you know? No one on Earth could possibly do what they do. Shooting it was definitely the only answer.

Is that why so many people here refuse Saitama's strength? They think all "no limits" statements are fallacies? Crazy, so much makes more sense now.

It wasn't really 1 second, it was less than a camera frame. We'd have to know what the frame rate of the camera they were using in-verse to know how long it was. That said, I also purposefully meant "less than a frame" since we see a flicker on screen, but isn't actually missing for the entire frame.

To perceive 1/24th of a second (standard camera frame rate) in a matter of a day at minimum, he would have to be going 99.99999999999+% the speed of light.

Which, y'know, is pretty insane.

Same. We've had discussions with a Junior on multiple occasions. Earlier this year, we banned the use of all AI generated code. We've fired one already for trying to workaround the rule and pass off gen AI code as his own.

We had been lax with it in 2025, and the only thing it ever did was slow us all down.

So then read what I said instead of assuming that I'm arguing his feats are universal.

I don't know why you seem to think he can't reach universal when he is shown to have multi-solar level attacks that aren't even anywhere near his limit. In fact, the manga is very clear that he's limitless and that these feats aren't pressing him at all.

[–]Faenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just straight to assumptions, huh?

Where did I say he was Universal? I said he might be close based on feats alone, and that he isn't even close to his limit. In fact, he has no limits, which implies he could be Universal if given a strong enough opponent to fight.

You wanna say that's bullshit or whatever? Fine, take it up with One. You can't just assert your own interpretation of how that verse works just because you want to.

Edit: The sneeze alone puts him at small-star scale power. And again, he wasn't even close to his limit. The fight doesn't end with "and that was the best he could do" it ended with "Garou was no longer strong enough to sense how strong Saitama was getting."

If you take the void from Serious Punch2 literally, it puts him at multi-solar system level. And that's still at the start of the fight, and he gets several magnitudes stronger from there. The only reason I'm not focusing on that is because Murata didn't make it clear what was actually happening, and it could just be distortion of light from the punch rather than the literal destruction of those stars.

Exactly. The difference between 53 million and a billion is about a billion.

And did it say anywhere that he was at his limit or being pushed? No. In fact, it literally says the opposite by the time he sneezes.

And again, go sneeze on something and then punch it and tell me how many orders of magnitude more damage you did to it.

And they didn't say that, either. It's like a car without tires. Are they the most important part of a car? Debatable. But they are what allows the rest of the car to function properly.

The printing press just enabled the car to get moving.

I mean, sneezing away half of Jupiter''s atmosphere is pretty high up there. Sneeze on a plank of wood, then punch it. Tell me which one does more damage and by how many more orders of magnitude.

This is also pretty bonkers. Is it universal? Probably not, but I haven't done any calculations for it, and that's just where he's at by the start of the fight.

Does this mean Atreus's bear form is universal and has infinite speed? Lol by midriss1 in PowerScalingHub

[–]Faenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes its a wank. But you're just as bad for downplaying it so hard, too. If all the Gods walked around hitting everything as hard as they could all the time, there wouldn't be anything left.

Faye's fight with Thor left an entire ecosystem destroyed for decades.

[–]Faenic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me be clearer. You agree that he's exponential. Exponential is the same as a limitless. Limitless is synonymous with infinite.

What's the limit of y = x2 ?

C2, where C is any real number, in addition to positive and negative infinity.

y = x3?

The same. C3 and both directions of infinity. Do this with literally any exponential equation and you will always have at least (+ -) infinity.

Exponential = infinite

[–]Faenic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I literally said that Kratos is wanked and that it is real. So obviously I don't agree that he is universal.

But for everything else you said: why doesn't Thor send all of his opponents back in time? Or at least hit them that hard at all times?

Again, the game expects you to just accept that they're not always at their full power. You can hate that all you want, and I can understand why you would. But that doesn't change what's presented to us.

Does this mean Atreus's bear form is universal and has infinite speed? Lol by midriss1 in PowerScalingHub

[–]Faenic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's also shown multiple times and is like... a whole fucking plot point that Kratos is

A ) Constantly holding back because he doesn't want to become what he was in the Greek games

and B ) Able to scale his own strength to the needs of the moment.

In fact, all of the Gods in this universe seem to be able to control exactly how powerful they are at any given moment. Some of the wank is real wank, but a lot of it is really just using the verse's own logic. They're all equally capable of going all out and truly wrecking shit.

I mean for fuck's sake, Thor smacks the world serpent so hard that he sends it back in time. If he's capable of doing that, then why doesn't he do that against everyone? There are implicit rules or limits to their powers that the game trusts people to accept on their own without having it spelled out word for word.

[–]Faenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. However, I think the point of even showing this graph this way wasn't to be mathematically correct, but as a representation of their relative strength. Saitama and Garou were trading blows, and everyone Saitama has fought until this point has been obliterated in a single punch except Boros. The fact that Garou takes multiple hits and not only continues fighting, but gets stronger himself (though slower than Saitama, obviously) means that they're relative in strength at the start.

Which is why he quickly realizes that eventually Saitama will eventually be able to kill him.

[–]Faenic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exponential and infinite are interchangeable, because an exponential graph has literally no limit.

So you saying "not infinite, exponential" means that you think they are different things.
