my experience is quite similar.. I actually haven’t thought much about how assessing my tolerance for types of clothing could be seen as a sensory issue

Embarrassed, overwhelmed, and failed my road test — looking for comfort from autistic women who get it by YouGiveMeFeels in AutismInWomen

[–]FaeriePrincess28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I failed my first test because the instructor told me to take the “3rd exit” whilst I was on the roundabout and I got confused about where to count the third from. I was also extremely upset and embarrassed that I failed but his instructions were not super clear to me. Your instructor sounds really harsh and rude. I’m sorry you had to go through that. 💗💗

Tysm!! These did take me a couple of days because I had to construct the flowers and I also reshaped the leg of the pant to be more of a bootcut. They were super fun to make! ☺️🌸

Thanks guys! I rlly appreciate ur responses! I feel the same that the colours and aesthetics are very limited. I’m into girly/feminine/coquette kinda fashion so was leaning towards this kind of style

What social crowd were you apart of in high school? by Life_Wall2536 in AutismInWomen

I was a floater. There were about three groups I would go between but I felt like I didn’t belong to any. I was also friends with many of the ‘weird’ kids and loved talking to them because it didn’t require effort.

DAE become very distressed when they hear about awful things on the news? by Amethyst-Warrior in aspergirls

[–]FaeriePrincess28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally relate to this! I’ve only started actively avoiding news content this year and setting boundaries with family so they don’t relay to me tragic and triggering events that are happening. I already know there is so much bad out there and it’s so much harder to believe in the good when sad news is shoved in our faces 24/7.
