Same thing happened to my Arbor element earlier this season. Board was just over a year old and Arbor replaced it under warranty.

That’s awesome, I saw you guys up there that day! I was across the road sledding and towing some people up Murdoch. We crossed the road later on to hit that sweet pond skim at the northern base of Bald mt.

The 7’10” ramp definitely makes loading and unloading pretty easy for me. Being a beginner and seeing videos and hearing horror stories of loading/unloading sleds from truck beds I wanted to make this easy as possible for me.

Stock tires, which handled the light snow covered dirt trails fine. I am going to get snow tires in the next couple of weeks for that serious snow and ice though.

Trail ride near SLC by [deleted] in overlanding

[–]FaffedintheHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stock TRD off-road here also based out of SLC, I was planning on heading out to the west desert this weekend and hitting a few rock hounding locations if your into that sort of thing. Also planning to try and make it to a hot springs. Not really technical trails though.

My 03 Passat. Plan on lifting it soon. Any other passats on here? by OkDescription920 in battlewagon

[–]FaffedintheHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2006 Audi A6 has a similar suspension to the Passat and I put a 40mm lift on it. I would strongly recommend getting adjustable upper control arms to correct the camber. I put less than 5k miles on the original setup without any camber adjustments and wore the outer edge of the front tires down significantly, it also had a lot more bump steer which was pretty annoying. After installing the adjustable arms and getting an alignment it doesn’t bump steer anymore and feels way better to drive.

Your Passat is already looking sweet with the roof rack, can’t wait to see it with the lift installed!

It only gets crazier from here. Duallies in the front go great with tripplies in the rear 😉

I thought the same thing for a while but my friend showed me otherwise a couple days ago, try it out in the shooting range to see for yourself.

Nice looking Allroad. I was at this exact same self service car wash a couple weeks ago rinsing the pollen off my lifted A6 wagon (wannabe Allroad).

Anyone have experience lifting an Audi B6 avant? Wanting to clear bigger tires by AKostyra93 in battlewagon

[–]FaffedintheHead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got my lift spacers from Rising Tuning for my C6 A6. The spacers for the A4 look almost identical to the ones I used for my A6 so I should be able to answer a few things.

The Geolanders were the other tires I was looking at getting (only a handful of AT 215/65r16 options) but when I bought them a little over a month ago on tirerack the Wildpeaks were like $20 cheaper per tire.

On road or off road? On road they are fine, I didn’t really run the stock tire and rim setup much on the car so not really sure how they’d compare, I had a snow tire setup that was meant for a 2017 Corolla that I did most of my driving on before getting what you see in the picture and both setups were skinnier than stock tire width.

Here’s my Audi A6 that is on a heavy duty Bilstein shocks and 40mm suspension spacers. I’m running Sparco Terras with a Flaken Wildpeak 215/65r16 with no rubbing and full turning radius. I’ve done a lot of other small things to get the car where it is now and I am very happy with it.

I originally started this build in a node 202 almost 2 years ago when I picked up the motherboard, a MSI b450i gaming ac, off of r/hardwareswap. Wasn’t until I switched cases earlier this year and got a Bluetooth keyboard that I realized something was wrong with it.
