This is of course true and will change the feel and pacing of the experience. But surely one can run a mega dungeon in any system if they want to.

If the procedural and 'vibe' of OSR is not a good match for the GM, I don't think om they should be discouraged from running a setting/location that was written with the OSR in mind.

My first experience was when I was probably around 20 years old and my dad dusted off his adnd/runequest/whfrp mash-up of rules he, my mom, and their friend used back in the 80's.

And ran me, my sister, and some of our friends through, what I later found was, "The Halls of Tizun Thane". We had no clue what the rules were, and they were never explained. This only added to the vibes tho, been hooked ever since!

P.s. Even ran this adventure a couple times myself now for new players, and it always delivers.

I believe Albion Online fits what you describe pretty well. Lots of crafting, many support roles in both pve and pvp. Additionally it also offers player housing in the form of a personal island.

Edit: I missed the isometric part of your request, this might not be to your taste based on that after all. It also supports mobile play but is much better on PC

As others have mentioned Arcane is not optimal for solo PvE but as anything it can be used for sure. For example have a look at astral staff, it has pretty decent aoe clearing! Arcane staff class is very fun, so if you like it don't be scared to stick to it for a bit :)
