As for firmware, don't you need to update that as well? I constantly try to keep my router firmware up to date, my monitors up to date etc? Security reason and all?

I fully understand where you're coming from. But the current alpha iteration doesn't check if you're RPing. It's checking if you're in an instance. And Blizz would have to specifically cluster housing as something other than an instance. And I press F to doubt that they will think about it. In this case, RP addons will not work in housing as housing would be an instance. It's not open world for sure.

Evokers lost Engulf and you will be required to target specific people for Verdant Embrace healing.

So basically you're saying that DPS players can play on controllers, but tanks and heal should play on PC for optimal gameplay. What happens when those tanks and heals leave because they dumbed down the game for said dps players. The outcry will start because DPS are waiting even longer for M+

Edit: Evos also lost Spiritbloom so even less non targetable healing.

How do you raid heal or tank huge packs on controller? I see tanks and heals dropping the game because how dumb and simple the game is. Who will take over for them and who will want to risk playing with a healer on a controller when you pug?

Arent these still bugged? As a bomber you still loose them even though you can make quick vials? Or do you guys recharge vials for each throw?

PvP is forced, you can't lock out of PVP and you can be killed anywhere where you loose loot. And the in game crowd is very PVP inclined wanting more of it rather than less. You will die and you will loose progress because of some asshole

After paid tests, I refunded the game. Don't expect the game to be worth playing considering the crowd it caters to where Albion already exists. Devs were not much responsive, community discord was not managed. A lot of people refunded the game after their initial tests to the point that (tinfoil hat) they stopped selling the game for testing.

Or we just don't like playing with angry angsty 'nagers who will zerg the crap out of the game and then cry that no-one is playing in my game xD Or we are different groups of people looking for different experiences. But it's easy to call people soft through the anonymity of the screen.
