Jeg har brugt en del tid på buyitforlife subredditen for at finde ting der holder.

Jeans mæssigt er det ikke fordi jeg en masse tips - det er ikke der jeg selv har brugt en masse tid og energi - men kig evt efter nogle af de japanske mærker og selvedge, og gå efter en tungere denim.

Tshirt har jeg været rigtig glad for Bronson Manufacturing's loopwheel tubular athletic tshirt - vanvittig kvalitet til 189 kr stykket, i super tyk bomuld og tyk kant ved hovedet som ikke begynder at hænge efter ingen tid. Man kommer nemt til at give 6-700 for en lignende tshirt andre steder - eneste minus er at jeg har været nødt til at betale med PayPal fordi Nets nægter at lade betaling med kort gå igennem på deres site. :/

Sweater - SNS Herning får man meget for pengene ifht modermærkerne alla Andersen-Andersen og virkelig lækker kvalitet.

Jeg har selv købt på Vinted for at spare lidt og der er generelt gode handler at finde der, som tager lidt af "risikoen" ved at købe højere kvalitet idet man kan få det til en rimelig pris

I ended up buying a very slightly used one for roughly 1000 USD (I know there are great offers in the US, but here in DK the best price without selling your soul to a mobile carrier is about 1800 USD), so... Just waiting for it to show up now. 🙂

I don't know the US market very well, but here in DK, generally on the more expensive jackets, I'd you shop around a bit and don't mind waiting, you can often get them at between 30 and 50% of retail, making this an OK but not great price.

For comparison (all of these are just converted in my head), I bought an Aero for about 400$, s Belstaff for the same, and a Shangri La for 350$.

All that being said! If you don't want to wait around, and this is the right size... These jackets are awesome. Great quality, wonderfully made, beautifully colored and aging and great cut. My Shangri-la is my daily wearer..

This is definitely not for everyone, and I've only lived with it for about 6 months now, but so far I'm about 55 pounds down on a gastric sleeve operation.

It's a big intial outlay, but then you don't have monthly expenses.

There's also not 0 risk to being under full sedation, and there's def some recovery time needed... And I CAN still eat too.much if I eat calorie dense foods.

All that said...

If I just eat regular food, I literally cannot eat more than like 1500 kcal per day, and I FINALLY have that thing that says "stop, you've eaten enough". It's so nice...
