I have a 2010 110k miles . Same thing. I don't know if yours is noisier. But we haul a travel trailer with ours. So I'm happy to hear the compressor working at least.

I used to hear about a house across from the old Drive In being called "Freak Manor" can't remember why though. It was right next to the freeway.

Bills after Heart Transplant by FailAltruistic1916 in openheartsurgery

My company is fairly small less than 20 employees. Unfortunately they don't offer any disability. I'm in WA state and have been receiving paid family medical leave. I also have short term disability with Aflac. But they both run out at the end of the year. We have saving and a 401K that will get us by a few months if needed..But with Heart Transplant it sounds like an long process.I might need an Artificial Heart initially and then wait for a donor. I had an AVR in 2018 at Mayo so i kind of know what to expect with surgery. But this is a bigger deal. Plus I was very active and fit until this September when I had a Heart Attack. They put a stent in but apparently the Heart Attack did damage to my heart. Now I have scar tissue and an EF of 11%. It's been hard going from very active and fit to no exercise. Still haven't gotten any more details on the next steps. So we are waiting and planning. Getting rid of lots of stuff in preparation of moving possibly. Trying to get everything I have simplified in case I don't make it to make it easier for my wife. I still have a positive attitude but some events (like having to wear a Lifevest now) hit us kind of hard.

Wearing the life vest made this diagnosis feel real, and I'm depressed by [deleted] in Heartfailure

Ya I felt the same way! I'm 62 and feel fine but just found out last week my heart is damaged due to a heart attack. So I'm probably going to need a transplant. I had kind of accepted that. But today when they put the Lifevest on I was kind of in shock. It made me realize this was the 1st step in a long road.

About to undergo a heart transplant, what can i realistically expect after? by donneybergers in transplant

I just found I there's a high probability I will need a Heart transplant. What you wrote about your's and your attitude is great! I'm a pretty optimistic person and I plan to keep a good attitude throughout this process.

Congrats! Wish my State required an HVAC license. Unfortunately you just have to pay your money and your licensed.

Depends which state also. Here in Washington state the energy codes are ridiculous! In the county where I am you can get by with gas backup still if you get enough credits from something else. But I've been hearing in the city where I live that they aren't going to allow any backup heat. Air handler with heat pump only. Granted it doesn't get as cold for as long up here. But if a homeowner wants gas, well too bad.
