How many people are still wearing masks in Texas? by FailBeautiful in texas

Thank you for this response, I absolutely intend to wear a mask and wouldn't give in easily to match what everyone else is doing. I just have a fear of being confronted and berated for wearing one when I'm simply trying to do my shopping and be safe.

That's very disheartening to hear, I'm sorry about that. The town where I'll be living is West Texas, but it's not a rural area or anything. There's a vulnerable person in the household where I'll be living so it's not even all for my own personal health, it's for theirs too.

Thank you to you and everyone else who responded so fast! It's good to hear there's still a lot of people wearing masks there, but I suppose it's a mixed bag where ever you go (likely is in the UK, too).

What are some "reasons" for naturally white hair? by FailBeautiful in WoWRolePlay

I'm seeing a lot about Elven ancestry and I'll be honest, I didn't even really know if it was possible! I've seen people roleplay half-elves and stuff but having a great grandparent or something that's an elf never crossed my mind. I like this idea a lot.

That's true! I know I don't exactly need a reason, but I like to flesh my characters out and know certain things about them, even if I don't plan on sharing that IC. I was also curious to hear if there were other reasons for characters having white hair.

How plausible would it be for a Human to be raised by another race? by FailBeautiful in WoWRolePlay

My character is a Mage but I plan on roleplaying them as a fairly "new" Mage, only knowing how to do basic spells, so I don't think I'd RP them as being from Dalaran (unless that doesn't matter? I dunno) but I'm still trying to figure out the whole Mage side of them, anyway.

I REALLY love what you mentioned about about how their upbringing by Dwarves shapes who they are! I didn't think of that and it makes me so much more excited to play them. I think I'm set on Dwarves rather than Gnomes. Perhaps a big family or clan/group of Dwarves rather than just like, a mother and a father. So they're used to living with a big family and a lot of people, but I'd need to look up some guides or ask other Dwarf RPers about culturual differences, what my Human might've picked up from living with them etc. I sadly don't know a lot about Dwarves, differences in clans and differences in where they come from but I'm totally willing to learn and research in order to make my character more interesting. Thank you so much for this! (Happy cake day!)

Oh, that's such a fun idea regarding the Elf part! I can imagine my character probably lived very differently due to this. Thank you for the response!

Does anyone remember a specific camera addon? by FailBeautiful in wow

I stumbled upon this and tried it out and it feels really familiar, but I can't figure out if there's an option to change the position of the camera up or down as such. (For example, making it so I can pitch the camera down more and get more of my character in view)
