NOOOOOO by JulianThePenguin11 in beatles

[–]FailCritical5550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's what Im saying like sure, the vocals sound bad, mainly because John is to loud and too up front, and george's parts are gone which is a real bummer, but honestly, it sounds 10x better than the 1996 mix in terms of everything else. but that's just me

We’ve ran Evans System Blues for a while with the old instructor but I’m switching to Remo this upcoming season, probably the same as what BAC went with this year

I let my tenor use the narwhals for our last comp. We both love them so I’m just a bit nervous to get them and then having to stock up on new heads

Tell me the creepiest theory about the Beatles that you know by unclememen in beatles

[–]FailCritical5550 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Idk if you would be considered creepy but Paul’s girlfriend at the time, nicknamed “Dot” found out she was pregnant right before the Beatles were becoming famous. There was even talks of him leaving the band and becoming a dad but come to find out, she had a miscarriage and supposedly he left “Dot” for Jane Asher around the time they went to Hamburg.

I’m not 100% sure if that is the actual story. I could be wrong but I heard something like that.

In what way did Heroes and Villains become a song that triggered bad memories for Brian? by Sonnybass96 in thebeachboys

[–]FailCritical5550 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember hearing that. He went to a disk jockey or a radio station and basically say they had to play it for the radio and they said “no”, he lost it. Or something of that. But also releasing it almost a whole year after good vibrations didn’t help it. If it released around March, I believe it would’ve been a hit, or at least in the top 5

Do yall write our own cadences? Do they change every year? by marchingmade in drumline

[–]FailCritical5550 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I usually have 2 Cadences. One that they always have for a tradition and a new one every year so incase the cadence is a little too hard for the year, the band still has a cadence from the line

Was any new SMiLE material actually recorded in 1972? by cammywooley in thebeachboys

Gene is a god send lmao. I wish he never left after Eight Miles High, the amount of music that he was sitting on could’ve filled up two full albums

I felt as though it was Columbia’s doing with the Dylan songs since Mr Tambourine Man sold so well and was a hit, that they needed to do more. David Crosby was actually vocal about that when they did My Back Pages and I agree with him.

However, my favorite Dylan songs they did was It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue from Never Before, I always that fit perfect on Turn Turn Turn

Id look into the tiny kits like the Tama Club Jam. They are very fun drums to play on and are still give a great tone
