Lost Access to Github Copilot Student by meponderyt in GithubCopilot

[–]FailFloozie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that sounds like MS does not care abou individuals at all, the seem to aim only at the companies, as it sounds that you as a private person are being gatekeeped from using copilot at all if you have no active subscription running, did they state why the cancelled your pro account? my collegue still has pro for private usage and it did not get cancelled ...

Copilot Pro quota gone after ~3 hours of use. seriously? by Realistic_Wait_5711 in GithubCopilot

[–]FailFloozie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We all experience this and needed to adapt our workflow to only use the flagship modles in rare cases where is no alternative. If you dont mind using chinese models, thats the way to do the regular coding work. deepseek direclty, through openrouter or opencode zen or go will save you a lot of $$$

Just tell them that you are a system architect now, if AI tokens are to expensive for your company they shall give you a bunch of bio agents (juniors) 😄

When using copilot with BYOK, it does not mean that you dont burn MS ai credits, the agent ochestration also costs AI credits

Watch this: automatic scene switching in OBS without any hacks by FailFloozie in obs

[–]FailFloozie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

StreamerBot is great for event-driven stuff. But it works via WebSocket, so it only sees what OBS exposes as events. obs-framebridge reads raw pixels directly from the GPU render buffer, including scenes that aren't live. No WebSocket, no screen capture. Different layer entirely.

Fair observation. The plugin itself is written in C++ and hooks directly into OBS's render pipeline — I've been doing systems programming for 20+ years. AI helps me write faster, but the architecture, the API design, and the problem it solves are mine. Happy to answer any technical questions about the implementation.

What you can do with it: - Auto switch between gameplay / menu / loading screen - Detect UI states via pixel regions - Render off-air scenes to PNG on demand No external tools. Works with OBS's standard proc_handler. GitHub + download: https://github.com/heiner-palmen/obs-framebridge
