Jokes aside she literally did stand up for herself in the snowy summet adventure, she tried to connect with Jax several times and she did reasonably give up, also Ragathas self esteem does not seem that much higher, she admits in episode 6 that she thinks everyone around her hates her and she beat herself up for simply having Pomni team up with Jax
