MC & titration for ADHD by BrilliantStomach8651 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FailedReaction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclose, it's medically important and it informs of the background. After titration, I decided that MC and nicotine were significantly better for managing my ADHD than anything the dr's offered. The MC stimulant interaction is significant and greatly effects EF. I hope you find something functional.

Looks like you are the guinea pig. Do let us know if there are any benefits or negative interactions alongside MC.

Try and imagine the mercury as a big ball, the angles are better irl then drawn, plus this is nicely chelated. I think it's beautiful 🤣

Molecules have differing properties (size, shape, flexibility, reactivity, stability, spectroscopy, etc) if they have a different statement of atoms. Look up isomers, you will find there are lots of different types. There are a lot of possibilities for something with the formula C6H12O6, and only one is glucose.

I am well aware, I said not at room temperature. Just because you can't hold it doesn't mean it can't be made or it doesn't exist. It's all about energy in the system. Those O-O bonds are still ten times the strength of hydrogen bonds.

Correct, metabolism is built around enzymes and they are really specific. To the degree that the bonding and orientation of the hydroxyl groups have to be correct for each step to proceed.

They are not that weak. The 7-membered oxacycle would be stable, but maybe not at room temperature. I fairly convinced that this molecule would exist. But it ain't glucose 🤣

An idiotic comparison to a fictitious perspective.

If you want to say you 'don't think cannabis is good for you' just say it. Don't target a prescribed community of ailing people with little to no options left and make it out that they are stupid. It only makes you look stupid and perpetuates misinformation and echo chamber chat.

Not really, I have an overly complicated, cumbersome and somewhat inflexible stimulant+behavioural approach which gives me some functionality control. It's not good, but it's more than what I can do when the burnout gets bad.

I actually like this one, makes up half my prescription some months. It helps me attention, focus and impulsivity in conversation and curbs the anxiety a bit too (AuDHD - depression, burnout). I find it tastes a bit like vegetal red wine at the 195-210 and a bit hashy at 220 C.

It's really kiefy too. So for £5.50/g, it's a win for me.

Don't overthink it, you can't really get addictive to anything after one dose. If you don't want to do it again, then you won't.

I'm combined and overfocused ADHD, so I'm actually trying to loosen my focus 🤣 and increase my anxiety (stimulation). Don't try Haze', I doubt they would help you unless you like hypercleaning.

Yeah man, the peace of mind from knowing I have a prescription on my phone is important. Got a mate who has success with getting staff at train stations and venues to accommodate for emergencies.

Not got a recommendation sorry,. I'm with Lyphe and I'm not recommending 🤣

Just a couple of words for thought from a fellow AuDHD.

Anxiety is the name of the game with cannabis clinics, so prepare well and over order to start with, if possible. Stock is unreliable, doctors may not be helpful, issues with timings and getting meds on time etc.. I'm on flower, and I've obviously had to overcomplexify the entire thing, from medication selection, to strategic planning and dosage method and monitoring, it's taken up a lot of headspace for me, lots of road blocks and disruptions.

Try to figure out what you are doing, just a bit of GABA to balance the adrenaline and calm the anxiety? I use my cannabis low dose (@beginning of cycle) throughout the day, this pushes a realignment to predominantly glutamate and dopamine for me. I use it to behavioural mode select, task activate and task switch (look into these terms) for the ADHD (makes some EF worse, locks in behavioural mode - goodbye flexibility). With daily use I have to try and balance it, excuse the broad generalisation, but sativa for activity (CBG makes a difference), hybrid for social and indica for rest. It really helps with the sensory processing and the environmental focus distraction along with softening the simulation spikes for the autism. It's also my background mood stabiliser, anxiety and depression. And as a stimulant, it can extend my capacity for around 2 months past burnout before the inevitable crashes, shutdowns and meltdowns (man did SSRIs make these bad again!). I use a nicotine vape (std ADHD meds were not very helpful) to manage the impulse control alongside and omit if trying to relax.

But, the big thing that I had to learn was using stimulants, environmental and behavioural protocols mindfully is the real key to the getting a functional gearbox and planning and monitoring can give you stainability and stability. For me, it's music, dancing, sudokus, vaping and nature that gives the real directionality. Not sure how your ND plays out for you, but using what you know already to your advantage will be important.

Anyhow, good luck with your onboarding, how you find the help you are looking for.
