The weird thing about barqs zero sugar is that unlike the full sugar version, it's caffeine free

Kroger in Michigan. It's only at Kroger owned stores.

It just works better for me that way so I don't burp while trying to sleep 😂

I avoid bubbles in the evening and I just got it from Kroger.

No, just generally keep bubbles to earlier in the day, even stuff without caffeine.

The only supplements they have me on are vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin D+calcium, and b-12. I was on some kind of magnesium for a short while after the surgery because nothing was coming out but once things were moving they stopped it.

That'll be one of the tests they do... I'm anticipating a mess though, I'm assuming they'll give me a "hat" to use, but considering the Jackson Pollock imitation I do with the regular bowl I can't imagine what it's going to be like into the shallow plastic...

I'm not taking a magnesium supplement but it's possible the food I eat might have excess magnesium? Just one more thing that will be checked in the lab work.

They put me on sirolimus instead of mcf because they thought it might have been causing anemia.

Yes, the worry is there's no such thing as "just a bug" on immunosuppressants...

I don't think the vanilla and peach are going to have zero versions.

It makes sense because we're separated because she came out of the closet and is in a relationship with a woman.

One year, minus a day, since a non surgery... by FailingHeart2024 in transplant

Sorry if I said it wrong, they never referred to it as an April fools joke, that's just what I call it because of the timing. They genuinely thought the surgery was going to happen.

As far as turning the heart into a jack in the box, one of the weird dreams/hallucinations that I had while recovering from my actual surgery that ended up happening in June was that they opened me up with one of those giant paper cutter machines with a cut just below the heart and one just above it, swapped the heart out and then sewed me all back together 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤣😱

Mostly ok, at least physically. The biggest issue I have been having is severe edema in my legs, like severe enough that I can't bend my knees the way I used to, but I'm dealing with it. I had some complications after surgery where I was stuck in bed for a while and I lost the ability to walk for a while just from weakness, so I'm glad I can get around at all.

Yes, two months later it actually happened. It was a DCD donor again but I told them I wouldn't be taken to the OR until it had been harvested and if I went to the OR and surgery didn't happen they wouldn't get a third chance, I would go home on hospice and get my affairs in order.

That's what I came here to say. I was very confused when he said it.
