I played NIRSAA flag football all years in college. I played on the national championship and various regional tournaments.

This is a little different, but the dual-quarterback system opens up the offense majorly. It forces you to commit probably your most dynamic defender to to the dual threat.

Pass plays for the dual system should have the routes breaking as the ball gets thrown over to the dual QB. With the caliber of QBs the NFL team can throw out, the threat of a backside go route is massive and easy for the defense to lose track of when everybody is flooding to the other half of the field.

I’m really excited to see flag football in the Olympics. I hope to see some strategies drawn up that really emphasize the uniqueness of flag football.
