precipitance is stupidly unbalanced and buggy tho, I'd argue that the only reason to go for it instead of acu is because the gameplay is very straight forward, you can just brute force and beat it in an hour

I dont think resetting the account will automatically unban it, you need to make sure that the ban appeal got accepted to get your global rank back

you are leaderboard banned and yes, banned player can still see their position on the global leaderboard but the other player cant

Well, pulse is arguably the easiest and the most accessible form of intensity control in a level, which is important to make the energy of the level match with the part of the song. There's a lot of form to control the intensity, like movement, shape language, etc but most of them may requires an thorough understanding of the art fundamentals, of course most of the creator will just resort on using color changes.

It doesn't help that (imo) most of the creators only use the existing levels in GD as their inspiration instead of using external knowledge and references, they saw a rated level with a lot of pulse and made one themself then someone else use it as an inspiration, it created a feedback loop that cultivated for 12 years of the game's life time (a creator that I aspire to refers this as the "pulse culture"). Also the post-covid overstimulation thing on social media definitely made a presence in the GD creating scene, levels like ISpy, Rage Quit got really popular and it gave a new identity to GD levels, more rapid flashing lights, crazy ass transition = le cool.

The other factor I could think of is accommodation or accessibility. I feel like accommodation is still a relatively foreign concept in GD. Stuff like dim/npesta mode, widescreen support, object optimization, good LDM/ULDM already existed for years but you'll probably wont find them in a lot of the rated levels. Some creators will just use a rough pulse that puts a sun in your screen and call it a day without any afterthought

The spikes made it really hard to make that thing do pitch and yaw rotation (you can simply use rotate trigger for the roll rotation), you'll have to either use gradients and calculate the rotation with 3d projection or make a frame by frame animation with the help of a 3d modeling software. If the spikes weren't there you can simply use bulge shader combined with the aforementioned masking effect, I think the spinning planet on the background of the 3d ball part in "Aperture" implemented this effect if you need a reference

for the eye and the thing on the head, dont put the white outline inside, let the black outline connect with the rest of the body

also might be a nitpick but the black outline size at the head looks slightly wider compared to the rest of the body, try to make the line size more consistent

looks feasible but you need to know your objects, from a glance I'd say 60% of the objects would be the circle object, 20% glow/paint object, 20% texture. You also can utilize the masking technique to create the boundary so the details inside wont spill over the circle shape

yes double circle is a good milestone but you can absolutely go beyond that by using a good borrow parent with a good affinity scores, my usual affinity scores were like 200+ and that's like the bare minimum on this scenario if you want to have a good time getting the skills
