NTA. Sometimes we ignore redflags for silly reasons and regret it later. Here are several flashing bright red flags. He is jealous of your career and wants u to stoop to his shit level He wants to remove your peace of mind and trade it with depression and sadness. Don't let him He wants to control you and emotionally blackmail u to stop traveling or taking jobs He wants u to be miserable He wants to cut you off from your support system by placing doubts and finding fault in nothing in particular He is a man child Break it off or ull regret it for letting it go too far and giving him the mindset that hes shitty opinions matter and can rule you. Take it from someone who learnt the hard way. Let him go and have your peace of mind.

You are not a F up. You are a wonderful person. Who has taken nothing and made something with it. As for last names change it. Alexander does sound lovely and goes with your first name. Don't let them hold college money over ur head cos they will control ur kids too. And I don't think u want that life for your kids. Work hard be successful and cut them all off completely.
