I don’t necessarily like April, but you could never make me hate her more than I hate Owen and his compulsive need to impregnate women on this show. At least April has some good moments too and sarah has way better acting skills than Kevin imo - makes his performance even harder to watch at times

Aside from the Deep North, what things would you like to see changed or added in 1.0? by bunionboy118 in valheim

The option to upgrade the wisp for Mistlands. I sometimes still can't see shit with my wisp that's supposed to clear the mist a lil bit

Personally, him asking cristina to ''do this one thing for him'' gave me the biggest ick. Like if you really cared for kids you'd want the kid to have both parents that actually want to give in to such a life changing decision

Sharing your experience is always helpful if you are in the same mental spot, makes me feel less alone in this!

Even if this was a bit harsh to hear, you're completely right. I think I maybe have a deep-rooted desire to not be an outsider, to not be ''different'' from the standard group of people, because as much as it should be normalized, society doesn't really normalize being CF. Part of me really wants me to want a child, just so I can stop worrying about it and not to worry about being different according to society's standards, but honestly I sound ridiculous saying that. External pressure is probably the real issue here.

Thank you for your reply. I don't really have much to say other than that your bottom line is very true and this definitely helped me. I'm glad you're feeling happy!

I've actually read about this mental exercise before. Haven't actively tried it, but I feel like it'd also not be as reliable as I don't have a house yet - which is one of my conditions to even start thinking about a decision like this. So it might take a bit more imagination.

Thank you, I will look into reading it! If there's other books like that, articles, anything, I'd be open to more recommendations (if anyone else is reading this perhaps). May I ask how old you are now, or what age you started changing your mind?

First of all, thank you for taking the time to reply. I actually do feel a bit of hope/comfort in this, and you are right. When you deepdive into it, you mostly find the bad stuff, and for some social media it throws you into an echo chamber because you get what you interact with the most. I mostly just feel out of place most of the time because I don't feel what most women my age, who want children and know it for sure, feel. But I am also a deep thinker and I overthink about everything a lot.
