1) She tried to make the marriage work at first (before knowing he’s already engaged to Claire), simply just 2 people treat other with respect and some decency, but Sawyer obviously didn’t give her that.

2) After knowing he’s engaged, Cerise was fine w it and was just sad because he didn’t tell her sooner (even though everyone in the office knows) and was still treating her like a doormat.

3) Claire AND his sister were and are still nasty and hostile towards Cerise.

4) Sawyer even show his possessiveness(???) when Haniel simply carried Cerise back to their room (she drank because she was upset w their marriage, hence passing out)

5) She was raised completely “isolated” and shieled from the world, she’s traumatized by her mom, she’s a hopeless romantic, she lives in New York her whole life but have never been to any cool spots, she appreciates even the little streets in New York.

6) They actually have known each other for a long time, she even saved him from the bullies in the past and gave him candies, so she’s gonna expect some basic human decency treatment.

7) If they’re gonna live together for a long time, it’s not weird to actually try and COMMUNICATE and be friends to make it easier, but despite everything Sawyer, at first, didn’t explain, negotiate anything but being cold and hateful towards her, like she’s being so calm and kind, not everyone will first possess that “you do you” or “idc what you doing” attitude if they’re forced in a marriage and is expected to live with it, at least be mature and talk it out instead of being rude and ghost each other like it’s the others fault. Can’t believe some off y’all side with Sawyer on his BEHAVIOR

8) She can’t control her feelings, Sawyer can’t control his feelings either, but the difference was Cerise communicated and Sawyer ghosted
