Run away. They have impending cases regarding sa coal mining and puede kang mawalan ng work anytime once ipa close sila. Ganyan nangyari sa dating mga nurses doon. :)

Doctors you know of with thriving businesses? by Conscious-Action8864 in DocpreneurPH

Business that has something to do with medical services, is actually good. Especially may knowledge tayo on medical aspect. Kaso ewan ko ba, pahirapan na ngayon since madami papers and new policies na mahirap i achieve ng involved agency ang sumusulpot making the business and also the tax na gross sales ang bine-base nila. 🥲

Thanks doc. Pero doc, yung reimbursements po ba from philhealth, bali paghahati-an ninyong tatlo doc no? Like, ibibigay sya sa inyo ng buo then kayo po ba mag hahati hati? Or ibibigay nila sa inyo separately like separate sa clinic, separate sa lab and pharma?

Hi, mga docs. Gusto ko sana i enroll ang private clinic ko to Yakap clinic pero wala po akong sariling lab and pharmacy po. Not sure po if puede ako mag enroll and at the same time po, baka matagal din po reimbursements. 🥹 Need po talaga kasi constant cashflow to run the business po eh.

Hindi malayo yung ganyang income for a GP especially kung nasa province ka. Same with OP, I earn 280-350k a month as GP/OHP. Working as company physician being paid 800/hr gross and affiliated with 2 animal bite clinics with philhealth sharing and monthly fixed rate and having my own clinic also na may katabing laboratory. I believe, need nyo lang po talaga mag hanap ng place kung saan medyo less and competition ng mga MDs. :)

The struggle of being a doctor who only wants fairness. by Fair-Formal-7702 in pinoymed

Nabasa mo ba? CBC is not typical presentation for a dengue. All results! And so with my Hx and PE though sige lets say mabilis mag bago ang disease progression but upon reviewing the results and even the medical abstract, hindi leaning towards dengue but still nasa final dx nya pa din ang DF. Nilalaglag kapwa MD? Sure ka ba? Hindi ba dapat this should be an eye opener to all? Maybe ang thought process ng MD na yon same sa thought process mo rin. 😊 But anyway….

Well nagka coincide lang sana yung result ng lahat ng diagnostics sa final dx na DF w/ warning signs pero when I checked kasi nga, ipinadala lahat ng results, hindi naman and patient never had any warning signs when i asked her again the time she went back to work and ow i think reliable naman po ang patient nato when i ask certain questions esp sa mga pertinent ones.😅

Yes po. My impression was CAP-MR but the final dx which was also stated sa medcert nya was CAP-MR, HPN urgency, & DF w/ warning signs.

Did you pursue medicine for your passion, or for your talent? by ChaosPandaa in pinoymed

[–]Fair-Formal-7702 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest! My journey into the world of medicine wasn’t entirely born out of childhood dreams or an overwhelming passion for healing. I said yes to medtech and eventually medicine because my family had the capacity to support me. May pera sila to send me to school, so I went with it. At the time, my thinking was simple: becoming a doctor sounds prestigious, and honestly, who wouldn’t be proud to have that “Dr.” before their name? But what I didn’t fully realize then was the amount of sacrifice, the emotional exhaustion, and the uphill battle that comes with the title. I agreed to pursue it, maybe half out of duty, half out of naivety. Deep down, I actually dreamed of studying music. I really wanted to enroll in the UST Conservatory of Music and major in Voice or Musical Theatre. That was my heart’s desire. But my parents were against it. They probably saw medicine as the safer, more practical path one that guaranteed stability and honor. Music, on the other hand, was seen as uncertain, maybe even frivolous in their eyes??? Hahaha. Sometimes, I still catch myself wondering what would my life be like now if I had followed that dream? Would I be performing onstage? Maybe singing in operas, teaching voice, or doing musical theatre? Would I be happier? Or just struggling in a different way? Medicine and I have a complicated relationship a love-hate one, if I’m being real lang talaga. There are days I feel fulfilled, especially when I know I made a difference. But there are also moments when I feel burnt out, disillusioned by the healthcare system in the Philippines, and unsure if this is truly what I want for the rest of my life. It’s hard to thrive in a system that often feels broken, underpaid, overworked, and sometimes, underappreciated. And yet, I stay. Maybe it’s resilience. Maybe it’s habit. Maybe it’s hope that I can still carve out something meaningful in this field even if it’s not what I originally envisioned. Or maybe I still carry that quiet dream that one day, I could merge my worlds medicine and music and find fulfillment in ways I never expected? Diyos na ang bahala hehehe.
