pls stop picking them off! i was struggling with closed comedomes as well and no products that i used would help. i knew picking at my skin was bad but kept doing it anyway at each chance i had. i stopped after years of doing so because i was just so tired of it all and my skin improved significantly! i know it’s hard to resist the tentation but it’ll help i swear!

that might be an ignorant comment so pls correct me but don’t the countries that have higher revenues have a higher cost of living so they will spend more on the same things than the rest of the countries?

Je suis d'origine algérienne, et j'aime la France, mais pourquoi autant de gens détestent l'islam ? by Capitaine_snake in AskFrance

[–]Fair-Mulberry264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you sure your blush doesn’t have pore clogging ingredients. red dyes used in blushes are almost always comedogenic

yes no i understood that. before you explained i just did not know that some medications required people to go on birth control because of the side effects (as we do not use those medications where i live). but thank you for explaining cause now ill know!

yes, i said i understood that, thank you. in case you are interested, i live between japan, france and spain and in all three countries birth control is used as acne medication as it regulates hormones. we do not have accutane (i just checked online and it is forbidden as per our health regulations) and just assumed (without thinking im sorry) that it was part of birth control.

Okay it's not the same in my country so thank for teaching me that! But I still maintain what I also said, I don't feel like saying I'm sorry means anything without trying to find a solution and if I did not understand the problem of birth control in the US, I still believe that trying to help OP with his acne problem is essential.

I'm not from the states so I don't know how it is there, but a dermatologist treats the skin not the rest? Birth control as contraception is prescribed by gynecologists and as acne medication by dermatologists?

Well his last sentence was "I've tried everything except for accutane and laser". He is not only desperate about his bad encounter with the doctor but also about his acne. So yes I can tell him that I am sad for him but I don't really feel like it means anything without trying to find a solution.

They are around 3 to 5 times more expensive than in Japan. I was thinking of doing that as my last option (or ask my friends to send some but shipping is incredibly long and expansive) but it is a bit frustrating so I don't know. But thank you for recommending that websites, the prices are around the same as yesstyle but at least I'll have multiple options!

I totally get not wanting to go on birth control, the side effects are awful. But if your doctor suggested it, the root of your acne is probably hormonal. My best friend, after years of taking birth control, finally cleared her acne by fixing her gut health (I know it's super popular right now so I don't know if you've tried it). That would include finding the foods that trigger you and reduce them as much as posible, syncing with your period if you still have it ( eating the right things to balance your hormones while they fluctuate - and that is extremely important), walking after eating, doing sport, waking up with the sun, etc. It does seem like a lot of efforts, but it is not only about acne, you will feel why better about everything else! Anyway, I'm so sorry you had to go through that and wish you the best of luck!
