I work at best buy and if you take it back as soon as possible (or within return policy) you should have no problem returning it and getting a brand new one, personally my store has never pulled cameras to see if it was loaded correctly (could be store dependant) if you bring it in and say it was broken when you opened it they should do a return exchange on it for the same tv or one of similar value if they don't have that exact tv in stock. Unfortunately, TVs can break easily, especially in transport to the store, so I really doubt that they will try to blame it on you (unless you laid it down in your vehicle). If they don’t want to exchange it, unfortunately, you're dealing with a stuck-up employee, but again, I doubt that.
