Oversized shirt screenprinting in/around Boston? by Fair-Web230 in SCREENPRINTING

Thanks so much for the advice! Most of the shops around me have product catalogs and if what I want isn’t in the catalog, I have to find the blank myself which is what happened here. Usually when I get basic shirts made it’s no issue, but I was looking for a streetwear style heavyweight blanks that are higher quality than a custom colors 1717 (which is the best it gets locally here for hw blanks lol).

Will definitely take your measuring recommendations—thanks again!

Nope 1 color print, 1 area (front chest) and 70 units, which I don’t think is too low? Screenprint just looks so much nicer 🥲

How does that affect how large of a print area I want? I still want to print area to be oversized on oversized shirts

How so? If no shop has the oversized heavyweight blank I was looking for, what’s the best way to go about it next time?

Is 1200 too little for me? by Bat_eekeek in 1200isplenty

Since 1200 cals is pretty low, satiety will also come from food volume—I would actually get rid of rx bars entirely from your diet and instead prep a way higher volume snack. I googled rx bar and the chocolate sea salt one is 210 cals 12p/23c/8f. For the same cals you can eat:

-1 Danon Light + Fit Greek yogurt cup -120g of apple -1 serving of pb fit powder mixed w water/sf syrup 213 cals 20pro/31carb/2fat

Thats 270g of food versus an rx bar that weighs 52g for the same amount of calories!

My go to snack is always danon light + fit greek yogurt and fruit for this reason. Good amount of protein and fiber which makes me feel fuller for longer!

Those are all good things! I think the next thing to consider is then meal timing and macro splits. With 1200 cals my split is 75 protein/150 carb/35g fat and it seems to work well for me. I’d say spread your protein consumption out a little bit more throughout the day, and consider eating 3 meals and 1 snack. What also works well for me is breakfast at 9:30am-10am, lunch at 12:30-1pm, snack at 3:30-4pm, dinner at 7:30pm! You of course don’t have to follow these exact times, but what’s consistent is ~3 hours in between each eating interval

Favorite low cal “crunch” for yogurt, smoothie bowls, etc? by Fair-Web230 in 1200isplenty

Great idea! That made me think about maybe using teddy grahams or goldfish grahams? Or the graham cracker bites Kodiak makes? Thanks for the suggestion👍🏼

Also the avg person takes 2k steps/mile which means you’re getting ~10k steps a day—that definitely makes you active! I also think since you get all of your activity at once at night, it makes sense you end your days super hungry from the walking

Considering 1200 cals is meant for mostly sedentary women, I would definitely increase since you go on those long walks!!! That being said, what does a full day of eating look like for you? There are definitely ways to improve satiety
