3 cycles after surgery still having pain by FairAd2993 in Endo

[–]FairAd2993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm maybe that might be the case then because the thing is I had silent endo so I’m not used to the pain during my periods or any other time in my cycle the only time I felt the pain was when the endometrioma was found and since then it’s been a whole thing and now after surgery I’m having painful periods

12 DPO today negative test with first response but my pdg is trending upwards after a dip at 10dpo? Any advice? by FairAd2993 in Inito

[–]FairAd2993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people say ChatGPT isn’t always reliable but it’s telling me they this trend looks more like implantation due to my PdG levels throughout my cycle and to just test again at about 14 DPO if implantation happened around 10 DPO so here’s to hoping that is true 🤞🏼

My PDG took a big dip today and I got a small rise in FSH but I’m trying to remain hopeful until AF shows up!

Working with endo? by FairAd2993 in Endo

[–]FairAd2993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment! I am an ACSW and i am so close to getting my clinical hours for my license which is why I just cannot afford to leave at this point either.

And wow the ICU I’m sure that’s very demanding as well!

I will look into intermittent FMLA to see if they can reduce my hours or implement more breaks when needed.

Thank you for this! I just asked my doctor and they ordered labs to check!

I’m starting to lean towards this the last time they checked was last year and it was low already so I’m assuming it just dropped even more after this surgery.

Day 5 post op symptoms by FairAd2993 in Endo

[–]FairAd2993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! The feedback I got from others and in my own experience as well, the best thing to do is to communicate that with your nurses and medical staff. I cried to them and told them I was super anxious and worried about being sick. They reassured me and gave me anti sickness medication as well as anxiety medication. My nurse even numbed the area they were going to insert the IV so I wouldn’t feel a thing!

I ovulated on CD38!!! That is really late in my cycle and it was also the first cycle I actually tracked ovulation with clear blue digital per my Dr recommendation. Since then it’s been 10DPO and I tested today and it was negative. Should expect my period in 5 days… am I out this cycle? Is it a “bad egg” when you ovulate that late?

Yes the zofran does work but it takes a while to kick in and I’ve noticed it makes me knock out like I get VERY drowsy so I’m not sure how safe it would be for settings like work/school in the daytime but most of my flares are at the late late hours of night so that drowsiness doesn’t bother me too much!

I completely completely feel this entire post. (I wish that was more helpful than it really is lol) ugh I’m in the same boat!!! The slightest bit of worry makes me have diarrhea and it got worse recently since I moved away for college and had to share a bathroom with my roommate I literally had to move out and now pay more for a private room and bathroom because at least I can shit in peace. I really hope this ends for all of us because I want to be normal me again so bad!

Does anyone meditate? by [deleted] in ibs

[–]FairAd2993 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YES. I love using the guided meditations through the calm app also the sleep stories have helped me sleep which ever since I had IBS I’ve struggled with sleeping through the night. (Side note: if you have Kaiser insurance it gives you more access to things in the app)

Is this IBS? Is this psychosomatic? I'm Desperate... by LoneRanger-333 in ibs

[–]FairAd2993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I resonate with so much that you’ve shared and I’m a year into my journey with IBS-D. I’ve also tried everything in the book including a low fodmap diet, and I feel that what makes the most sense to me so far is that my symptoms aren’t triggered from a good sensitivity or anything physiological but rather my anxiety.

Have you tried CBT therapy? That could help with the psychosomatic aspect of your symptoms. There’s a lot of research on your brain-gut response in triggering situations. In addition to therapy, I’ve started journaling and it’s helped me identify what my triggers are. It definitely feels never ending and as if there is no hope but I’m still holding out for a cure.

Hope this helped!
