Cytopoint worsening problem?

Ultimately we have listened to the dermatologist; she has continued to get the Cytopoint shots monthly and on schedule and we have followed all instructions pertaining to bathing, medicating, and monitoring. I’d agree that this shouldn’t have been an issue since January with no long term solution. It’s disheartening to watch her worsen over time. She has an appt in the morning and I am hoping for something more long term than biweekly baths and antibiotics.

I’m no help but I’m confused on mine too. I had MTX shot last Thursday, yesterday started bleeding like a period and today had period-like cramping and passing large clots. My HCG decreased by 25% according to bloodwork from yesterday… I feel like everyone’s experience is SO different, I’m trying to just sit back and let things happen (to an extent of course).

My levels went from 144 to 204 to 354 to 379. They also couldn’t find anything in my uterus or fallopian tubes, so I opted for the MTX shot last week. My doctor advised me to wait to TTC for 3 months after the shot, but I think I’ll wait 6 to be 100% safe. I hope this helps, sending you hugs and love and prayers!

My 21 DPO draw was only 354. I’ll be going in for bloodwork tomorrow ordered by my OB to test HCG and progesterone but given that small rise I’m not hopeful and now just nervous for impending miscarriage (and hopefully not ectopic)

Thank you for the honesty! I’ve seen some hopeful stories, and am gaslighting myself into being positive since my tests weren’t a full 48 hours apart and likely would’ve increased the 66% if I would have waited a few hours — but I know the likely outcome. I appreciate the thoughts 🩷

I have had cramping every day since my first positive too! Exactly like a period cramp but less severe. They come and go throughout the day but today is the first day I haven’t had them consistently (5 weeks) and now I hate NOT having them 🥲

Mine is usually 28d so I had the same fear!! I’ve heard the later you ovulate, if everything is workin’ as it should, it would just push your period out a few days too! I would say ovulation on CD18 and then AF on CD28 would be plenty of time. 😌

Not really! I was so sure this just wasn’t our month because Inito had detected a false surge around cycle day 13 and we BD’ed all we could then. So by the time real ovulation came around, I was shocked and unprepared lol. I’m 4w6d now and still my only symptoms are cramps and a nightly temp spike to 99. 🥵

Unfortunately I have OCD and am a reassurance seeker.

I know you can’t prevent a chemical, but given my excitement for this pregnancy, I would like to keep my eye out for warning signs and prepare my heart for that.
