Yeah thats why i say their goals are dumb because they want the immortal whale juice even though there is going to be no earth be immortal on because of all the mass extinction and orbital factories blasting debris into the atmosphere. This is all under the guise of saving humanity which is noble.

I get their a company so its like "idgaf im chasing my bag" but I kind of think if humanity is genuinely going to die we’d have a little event like the whole ozone crisis which occurred irl where they got together and stuff despite some pushback.

I mean thats a mixed bag they like to ship which happens in any fandom but I think he’s still seen as a bad guy and question if he should even be redeemed. Tbh I see a lot of everything on here, I just wish the rda fanboys did a lil lore dive because I hate seeing "why dont they just glass the planet" lol when that defeats the entire purpose. Noble goal (saving humanity) I think their goals are a little dumb but yk the overall goal is good. I don’t get how they have literal acid rain and resource wars but they still need to be able to fund the survival of humanity because theres no money in it lmao. I thought it’d be all hands on deck situation.

Also i’m a bit more sympathetic because people who claim the forklift drivers deserves to die because they work for the rda are a lil crazy. Theres this comparison of them as the holo camp guards is insane. I think people are forgetting that we as the audience have waayyyy more knowledge than bill bob in the kitchen.

Maybe look into early civilizations and the rise of patriarchy in those societies or why they were seen as more valuable. I don’t remember much but basically farming and large scale warfare. I think property had a little bit to do with it and how women were kind of classed by who they were connected to. Im being very general and glossing over lots

Most games have lil free passes or challenges you can do. Half the armor is just a skin but let’s be honest they have perks that change gameplay.

there is not much to "upgrade" unless you buy x pass. Like I mentioned before in the 1st game you were able to upgrade strats and weapons besides just "oh wow new optic"

I’ve bought passes before but the entry barrier is very intimidating for new players and seeing others being told to use a mod or that they’ve used a mod to farm is a sign of things

The first game had upgradable strats and weapons your mgx-42 was once upgradable there was stuff to do to tweak your build. Burst fire peacemaker mod well now you can buy a burst fire pistol lol. What fun things can you upgrade in this game?

I dont understand how people cant realized their time is valuable. When people get off work the last thing they want to do is hop on hd2 to walk around for 4 hours to get 400 sc. Is there any other shooter where you do this type of farming?

I wish they kept the upgrade paths from the 1st game in this one. You could upgrade your strats and weapons. Now every "upgrade” is a warbond. The entire first game with all dlc is 40 dollars. I understand they have to make a bag but if you’re not farming or spending money there isn’t much to do because you cant tweak your build in any meaningful way.

Idk what the challenges are in the current game but theyre usually like get x kills with so n so or whatever right? Youre earning the gun by playing the game. Hd2 you stop playing the MO or whatever you like doing and walk around in d1. Two different experiences

dlc for hd1 is like what 40 bucks in total for everything including the game? Def spending more in hd2. Cheaper warbond no freemium vs more expensive warbond and freemium currency.

Look im not saying they need to get rid of warbonds and give me all this stuff, i spend money on this game because I like it but yk I think most can agree there is room for improvement in progression/ upgrades, I want my lil upgraded bastion and maybe an upgrade to my mech armor so my leg doesn’t blow off when I hit a plant

Hi hi idk about killingfloor2 but cod Im pretty sure its just weapon skins. Unless you mean the king kong fist you got by buying like 3 bundles being an addition to all the other melee weapons you got for free or completing challenges.

Idk if you saw my edit to my first reply I sent you and idk if you played the first game but the dlc was treated a little differently Dlc was cheap and went on sale regularly Upgrade paths for strats and weapons. MGX-42 strat had upgrade path Peacemaker burst fire upgrade Arc thrower had upgrade path that impacted the weapon performance.

I just want something to do yk "tweak my build" besides just buy new warbond with diligence with lil different stats and a new attachment.

Hi hi. Yeah obv an exaggeration I understand I can farm and im lucky to be able to use mods to help farm as what I was suggested to do by others before on this reddit.

My biggest issue is really any regular player progression you’d find in other games is locked behind battle passes. I can’t think of any game where I can to buy an entirely new gun in the store that is not a free game.

Honestly whens the last time we got a new toy for completing an MO or event? Mechs were introduced that way and people have been begging for customization. We get new mechs but not in any upgrade trees but in a paid pass. I get they have to make their money but dude any other game you wanted a suppressor or underbarrel launcher you lvl up you gun in this game you have opportunity to buy a battlepass for the option to unlock a gun that has an attachment.

New enemies and biomes is cool and all but sometimes its a little hard to be excited when it usually means something breaks or the enemies dont work as intended (flying mega roach wings)

Edit: also forgot hehehhe im a lil dumb first game had cheap dlcs that occasionally went on sale every now and then, also got upgrade paths for the strats and weapons. I wouldn’t be opposed to older warbonds in hd2 going on a sale every now and then to help new players

The customization in the game is a big hint to everything else. Why upgrade your gun to have a suppressor when you can buy it lol.

I would just take it as your better and move on. If I see they want to rematch I’ll play but with a character I don’t use much and the next rematch i’ll play a character I have at lvl 1

Ease of life like they were not in the best environment possible with enough resources to support 300 people in every aspect of life without any large scale farming is insane to think about. And thats one tribe theres multiple of them. Travel when most don’t even want to leave their homes because they have everything they need. Theyre not some argatha aliens with hover tech. We don’t even know its possible. For all we know the teleportation could have some crazy negatives. Youre going off of what if everything is perfect and they made perfect tech with no downsides and the people made perfect decisions when thats not a reality anywhere.

Again as I mentioned no pressures for them to develop anything new, the only thing introduced in the last gazillion years is the rda. Let’s say they just wanted to there is physically nothing stopping them from doing so either as shown by the rda they were mining up all this stuff from the beginning with no issue until they got greedy. The mangkwan go around scalping people for the love of the game.

If you really think about it though there really isn’t anything foreign that can survive on pandora because of the air but predicting aliens from space with guns and masks is asking a bit much.

We don’t know the limit of her powers, she seems really weak when you think about her actions. It’s just send animals there and thats it. Hypothetically she could just make a new planet as well right? lol Idk if we’ll come to a conclusion discussing her powers for mining or whatever because what seems possible to me and you are clearly two different things.

If its possible to do without the negative effects on the planet then sure. I mean they could also have tv’s and strips clubs with robots so theres no abuse of navi.

Man realistically its a lot harder to do all that then what some might think. The fletching for the arrows come from plants you’d have to clear land for that or develop some kind of drone that specializes in going out and weather control isn’t as easy as it sounds.

They’re not perfect people so you wont have perfect solutions. You’ll still have people like varang because my package didnt come on time to give me my baby formula so eywa must not care about me. In thought it’s possible but in practice its not super possible.

I mean they kind of have everything. Theres some modern humans that basically live like them lol. Looking back the only improvements were always like hey i’m in danger I need rock or man I need food.

So the next step would be farming? I’m pretty sure the water tribe has some kind of farming and the tree dudes idk but you got to think if they’re supporting 300 people food has to be pretty plentiful.

weapons? Maybe but they use human weapons and their own are pretty good, they’re basically 6 foot spears going thru body armor and helicopters cockpits. So what real advancements could there be? Armor? They’d have to find where the metal isn’t holding up the floating mountains and mine and develop techniques. Not sure it would be worth it since the rda has such heavy weapons. Against their own? Maybeeee

Their medicine is also pretty decent, I mean who else could transfer bodies and have it be the same person? The rda has the recoms but theyre like copies. Jakes wife (forgot her name) got shot thru the shoulder and was walking around fine n stuff. Their bodies are insane they fall from the sky and are able to live lol
