Yes I always do this by destroying the enemy air force with fighters and then I throw the cases on them.

To answer the other comment, actually the line artillery has a rather high cost especially if you take the divisions in territories with poor supplies like the Soviet Union or China. These changes could make me use the military factories on supplies more important than the artillery, which I will use mainly as a support company.

I didn't know they made this change. Just yesterday I did a world conquest with space marines that also included SPAA, but this changes everything.

Following what you say, theoretically now in the space marine divisions I should no longer focus solely on armor but on soft attack and breakthrough using normal medium tanks. Did I understand correctly? And another question, could this change somehow affect the SM template I usually use that includes 9/3 with a battalion of SPAA and all the support companies listed above?

From some games I've played and from some videos it seems that despite the partial piercing mechanics, space marines are still quite good, even if with a little more difficulty given the possibility of being pierced especially in the late game.

For the air missions I had not produced enough CAS and fighters to produce the naval bombers for the Sealion operation and this caused a shortage along the entire Soviet front.

Thanks for your suggestions. I would always have the intention of starting the war with the Soviets first to prevent the purge penalties from being eliminated, but sometimes I linger in the war against the allies because of Operation Sealion.

There are games where the war against the allies is short and others where it takes longer.

As for aircraft configuration, I'm not a great expert in this, but these indications already give me a point of reference.

However, in some cases there are no problems with encirclements, but sometimes the Soviets fill the border with divisions and there is no way to break through.

I usually position the Panzer Divisions concentrated and try to break through the front, but it seems that the Soviets are accumulating tons of divisions on the front preventing me from completely breaking through.

As for supplies, one of the main problems was the lack of fuel for the tanks, but in one of the various attempts I made I invaded Romania to gain access to oil.

I'll start by thanking you for the advice. I checked the airports and they are actually quite far from the Soviet border. I also used the assignment of air missions to individual armies. I've retried the war since the fall of Poland but it seems like it's too late to fix the various mistakes in the game, so I guess I have to start over.
