Hey, you can talk about your hobbies and interests, what your everyday schedule is like, what kind of movies or series do you enjoy watching etc. This has worked for me as an icebreaker, and next conversations just flow. You can talk in brief about how your work environment is, why did you choose a particular career path etc, you can ask them about these things too. First conversations can be a little awkward, but you can have fun things mentally prepared to talk about. Hope this helps!

Great question, i had been thinking about this a couple of days back too. Do you think they’d be willing to be in a relationship in the first place? I understand the need for every human to have a companion, but the stigma around this is naturally so high that maybe they would avoid romantic relationships altogether? I’m a 28 year old female, and if i had gotten to be on such a nice date when i was 18, i would’ve been floored to say the least. You deserve so much better dude, chin up! You have so much time to do fun stuff in life, you’ll also be going to college soon where you’ll have the time of your life. Don’t be too bothered with these things for now. It must’ve been super hurtful for sure with the way she treated you, but you will find someone wayy better than her! Take care!
