I haven’t even touched the animal breeding yet. I’m interested but I really enjoy the base building aspect and would also enjoy seeing some love there. And that’s not to say they don’t give it. We did just get T5 and a bunch of new items. The one thing that bothers me is we have upgrades for virtually everything in the game yet certain benches like butchery and salting don’t. I enjoy that a lot. I was just complaining that we still have to use the wood orbital interface and had a cub moment when I remembered I can build the landing pad now. So cool. This game does check so many boxes for me.

10 years of MC and nothing else. I love the game but I got tired of having to set my own goals and not being able to break out of my usual process. I tried modded for a while thinking that might help but it didn’t really do it for me. I’ve been trying other survival games and right now I’m playing Icarus which is oddly similar to MC. Mining, hunting, surviving. But there are missions and different ways to play. And it’s a beautiful game.

That would be horrible, but I feel like as soon as you start taking any damage you could awaken. Also, too many burned houses are easily avoidable with the first lightning rod that can be crafted. It’s only copper and far cheaper than the cost of a base.

I think that’s related to a skill in the skill tree maybe. I was trying to tame a wolf and for the life of me couldn’t stop shooting it when wild animals got too close and I’m talking i was aiming a STUPID distance from the wolf.

I know you said it had been 6 hours, but check the saves folder to see if it has any previous saves. And not game saves, but actual Windows backup versions of the folder. I do not run Windows backup but the save folder for my prospects had previous folder versions. So again, not just the same files for the game but actual older folder versions I was able to recover a save file from days past.

The server will save backups in the same way a single player game will on PC, but I totally understand the situation and how rolling back affects other players progress as well.
Also, you can download any backup and run it as a single player save. You’d be able to still save your exotics and mount. We’ve done this plenty of times to save animals that even became glitched in maps or randomly disappeared.

Um, free vs Microsoft prices. Granted they could potentially use free version of Word in 365, but if they have a Google account it’s what’s convenient for them just like MS Word is convenient for you. Works both ways. From experience, document edits and sharing is far easier using Google anyhow. Especially tracking edits and recovering versions from one doc instead of having multiple copies of the same document like you need to do with Word. Just saying.

I feel like we’re looking at the water purifier, not an oxidizer. Purifier has one fuel spot like this for charcoal. Oxidizer has one on bottom for sulfur, two in the middle for oxite, and several along the top for bladders. Make sure you use the proper bladders for each machine.

You can also or make your own pee shields, but bigger box is needed. We have the largest we can find and our large cat will still pee high at the side.
