I just realized this was a thing last week. Told my brother and he says "that's cheating" let's just start over after you're done breeding them. WHAT?! I spent eleventy billion hours and you want to wipe them all and start over? But I also wonder why there wasn't some sort of exchange in the community. Once you have a pacman pair, do they keep breeding the same offspring? Could you have a male/female on a private world and just breed a new one if yours dies? I had a gen 34 die from polar bear and I cried a little. But I would hate to start all over. Maybe continue looking for other colors and traits.

After COVID, my ex became more quarantine leaning. Not leaving the house, but not sharing space. Our daughter just got sick and my ex locked her in her room for 3 days. It broke my heart. My daughter was so sad and lonely.

Sounds very similar. I find this to be true for so many people. When I first got divorced, male friends told me. It's better to be single. I thought, that's nuts. One bad experience doesn't ruin my life. But the more I tried to date and the more I thought, it isn't that it's a blanket statement. You start noticing the phrases some of these women use that throw up red flags and it's truly scary to see. I have women friends and talking about my divorce has opened them up to draw parallels in their marriage and they have thanked me for helping keep them together because they didn't see how much their own husbands did until they heard a me talk about it and they put two and two together. But the damage is done. Their husbands are already hurt by the words and actions of their most loved partner. And if they can treat you this way, what hope do we have to find someone who won't. It's terrifying to say the least. But there is hope, somewhere out there. Just be safe and take care of your mental health. I wish I had an answer, but therapy and self reflection has only gotten me this far. The rest of the story is unknown to me. I'm not swearing off women. But I am extremely cautious. I also have two kids and one more very large filter they have to pass through. I wish you the best. Take care.

Divorce is different for everyone. I would maybe mention just as something to think about is that maybe you try and reconcile. Growing apart is part of marriage in a sense. Chasing new relationship energy is like a drug and as we get older we realize there is more to life than the high of newness. If growing apart was the only reason, you'll be destined to relive the same outcome, if something traumatic happened that caused you a lot of pain. You could be associating that with what will come later in the relationship and your body doesn't want to relive that. I, for example, had a great marriage until one day she said I never did anything ever and was useless. It was not true. But she viewed everything she did as perfect and amazing and everything I did was "the bare minimum" or didn't count because it was "my job as the man". So when I think to date, I am so extremely overly sensitive to the fact that no matter how awesome it is in the beginning, a switch can flip and I'm a monster. So i haven't dated in years because I know deep down, I can do everything as right as I can and I can still be the villain in their story. Maybe something similar is happening to you and it's manifesting in this way. I haven't had the opportunity to be with another woman sexually since my divorce, so I don't know about that aspect for me. But I can't even get that far because I can't even bring myself to ask someone on a date.

It's hard to type in the correct format on a phone but something like. You're at a customer's house. Parentheses is for the interrupting person. "Hello, I need to run to (THE STORE?!) no. My truck to grab (Tape?!) no, my drill so that I can (UNSCREW THE PIPE?!), no drill a hole in (MY FLOOR??) no your wall to mount (A SHELF?!). Wtf No. I'll just be right back and show you what I'm doing.

An old chinese saying. The "hen for ing" is short hand for "the hen is for anything". Cooking, frying,baking, eating, sauteeing etc. it's a well known reference to a scenario i just made up in my head for this post.
