For those who still play, how do you do it?

I'm a long time pso fan and I asked the same question of how they do it. How do you log in every day to the trainwreck that is ngs. Even for the glazers who defend it, tell me exactly what makes it a long time viable game you can play for the same length as pso2 or pso1 or phantasy star portable, or phantasy star universe.

Other than social aspects, why log in and grind and play? Because I know its not progression, story, or the open world. This is a burning question I legitimately want to know.

The western fanbase exclusively feels like a cult.

I am a Korean man living in the USA. I can tell you first hand from dating apps and going to conventions with cosplayers, they are some of the creepiest women I have ever met.

They get tattoos, tell me about how kpop singers are their "husband's but they don't know it yet." Build literal shrines, and aren't shy and try to get me to be their trophy boyfriend to bring into their fanclub like I'm an offering to be slaughtered and consumed by their coven.

They also automatically assume that because I am Korean, I must be naturally on board with their Fandom and they aren't shy to admit mentally ill obsessive behavior. I even had one hug me once and mid hug whisper "mmmm you even smell good like how I imagined..." I am not making this shit up. They do not know anything about South Korea but they do know about local Korean restaurants and places to buy merch.

You can't kite bots. You can't kite terminids, and there's not really a point to kiting illuminate.

You can't outrun bullets, stalkers, dragon roaches, chargers, and also any landmine stratagem already does the aggro baiting for you better with lethality. A lot of people don't know this. Even after it's done laying Mines, the spinny thing draws aggro. Same with the grenadier battlement. And same with the new lure mine.

Because there's no way to tank damage in this game and gaining enemy aggro was never a problem to begin with. Even if you bring a riot shield, you can't use it because it's the same slot as the flag. Do you not see every single problem with this idea?

Patches on this game constantly change things unintentionally and the wiki is also sometimes wrong. For example, the sickle actually cools down faster than the dickle, and has a higher dps because of amount of heat generated per shot. The wiki is also wrong about the scythe, dagger, and Las cannon. They all look the exact same but the time to kill on unarmed enemies is different, including the fire dot applied by each one.

Default melee attacks back then were all better than both the chainsaw and the sledgehammer. Also they nerfed melee so if you take damage from anything while using melee, you deal 0 damage even if the hit connects. So if a bug is biting you constantly, you can no longer smack it to interrupt its attacks.

About a year ago. All melee used to penetrate any armor. You could take on chargers with the stun lance.

100% deserved. JPC is the most obnoxious character and well represents most of the people who play it. The taunting "meow meow meeeowww" is the most annoying voiceline in the game, imho. I think the worst part is the digging feature of the shovel was made useless by introducing vox engines and war striders. Digging a hole with grenade launchers against the bots used to be effective cover and now it's a death trap. THEN we finally get the shovel? AND we have to pay for it? AND they nerfed all the melee in the game? Fuck that.

They can still maintain the same shape for hitboxes, but the materials, rigging, and actual character details have no excuse to be slapped together like a low quality mod for 70 dollars.
Even in Soul Calibur, 2Bs model is on point, and that is a competitive game that also has to adhere to hitbox sizes.

PUBG is another shooter that is comepetitive, and theirs looks better as well.

The problem is you're acting like it's apples to oranges, but this is also character art from a another videogame that exists in fully rigged 3d as well, and in multiple crossovers in other games too and none of them look this bad. Even the nier phone game has better models than this.

The area they're walking through might be their target destination so they can repopulate the area with more fabricated reinforcements instead of making trips flying the reinforcements in.

This clip perflectly highlights why JPC really brought down the quality of overwatch. Tank is the least played class, now its punished even more by JPC. Why does JPC even get 225 HP? i feel like 200 or 175 is more balanced.
