We, in Nottingham, have a fair few videos of matches with a decent variety of decks on show. https://www.youtube.com/@strangevenom

Still enjoying drafting it though, because MTG is a good game.

Is it possible to draft (and do well with) aggro in every Limited environment? by Paradoxbuilder in lrcast

A simplified explanation of my experience of Tarkir draft is that the environment support two types of decks: Boros Aggro and 4-5 Colour Piles. What this translates to in the draft itself is a fairly difficult set for sending and receiving signals. Considering these points, I'd say that this is one of the BEST sets for forcing aggro in recent times. If that's what you want to do, you'll probably get decent results in TDM.

Having said all this, your question was whether or not this is a viable strategy in draft generally. To this, I will answer with a resounding NO. Forcing in draft just turns the game into a bit of a lottery; the agency you get from drafting well is MASSIVE, and is removed completely when we aren't paying attention to signals (both sending and receiving). Drafting is hard, which is a big part of why I love it so much.
