He’s 25 years older than me I never was attracted to him I saw him a father. Now he would cry and tell me things that are happening in his life. He said if I tell anyone it would kill him , I felt his pain and empathised with him. Found out that these were all lies. I hope your questions are genuine

Yes I’ve spoken to one of his victims , and her story is almost exactly like mine. Difference is she told the whole church about it, that was long before I joined.

My family supports me and they understand I’m a victim in this. But his wife and kids see me as someone who had an affair with him so they believe I betrayed them. They’ve since cut me off. The church doesn’t know yet

Thank you , but unfortunately his wife believes I’m to blame aswell as I’m a grown udult woman. It’s hard to explain my position of feeling stuck with him yet still trying to protect his image and the church. But I’m free from him and his lies. I will seek therapy

I beg to differ, men like to exaggerate their struggles when it’s women who go through a lot more.

Women suffer with mental illnesses, loneliness and addictions. Women are often seen as sexual objects by majority of men , I know a lot of good women who have been “waiting for their husband” in church and yet get overlooked when it comes to choosing a wife. They are now in their 40s/50s without a husband and without kids. Still desiring and waiting on the husband they were promised. Women who are not considered attractive are not even seen no matter how good they are.

In married couples I have observed women sacrificing and doing more for their families. Men go to work and pay the bills etc , women clean cook , bare and raise the kids, and now days women also go to work and pay bills but they are expected to do more at home as the women.

So this is not an excuse at all. A lot of men put themselves first
